I am a physically challenged woman. I need a wheelchair to get around. I was charged with a DUI by very aggressive officers. Most of my important family lives in Canada while I live here in Ohio. Joe took the time to listen to me, to listen to what happened to me, and in the end he fought for me. I was able to put this in my rear view mirror and move forward with my life... which is what he promised he would do, to put me in a position where I could move on from what happened to me. I owe Joe so much.

There are few things in life as stressful and horrible as when you need an attorney. That's how I felt before I learned about Joe and his firm. There are a number of reasons why I've found recent legal actions far easier to deal with, and all of them are because of Joe and his amazing team:
1) Dependable: I am always kept informed of what is going on. The level of communication is second to none. If anything important develops he lets me know. Lawyers are notoriously bad as a profession at communicating, but that is not the case with Joe.
2) Honest: Joe tells it like it is. If there are problems with my case, he lets me know. He doesn't sugar coat it or give me a line of bull. This is a huge comfort and makes it far easier to plan what to do.
3) Tough: Joe is the fighter you want in your corner. Law suits aren't fun, but they're even less fun to lose. I feel that when Joe is on my side, I am going to win. The last thing you want to see in a legal action is someone from his firm on the other side of the courtroom.
4) Great Team: The whole team is absolutely amazing. With some firms I might be hesitant to work with an associate or an "underling", but that is not the case with Joe's team. Joe is a busy and much sought after attorney - which is a GOOD sign. You don't want an attorney who has tons of free time. You want someone that lots of other people want. He surrounds himself with top people and working with them is great.

Joseph is a very detailed oriented trial attorney. This worked great with my personality and the gravity of my case - Domestic Violence. Joseph outlined a game plan based on my topical input and together came up with a successful approach in trial. Not only does he pay attention to detail and is knowledgeable of trial law, but he is also "coachable." By this, I mean that if I heard something in someone's testimony that was strange, I could pass him a note with some corresponding information that sheds better light on the testimony's problem, and he would act on it immediately. Periodically through the trial, he would confer with me to see if there were any other questions he should ask. His closing spreadsheet that summarizes the testimonies of everyone and brings out the suffering points of the accusers witnesses and the strengths of mine was key. Befores my testimony, I gave him a list of things to ask me to "de-mistify" who I am to the jurors. He did exactly that. He didn't act as if that was a dumb idea and flaunt his superior knowledge of the legal process. He was humble enough to take suggestions and run with it, especially when it made sense for the case. The jurors came back in 30 minutes of deliberation and rendered a "Not Guilty" verdict because we had all of the documentation and data to prove my innocense. The Prosecutor didn't know what hit him. You know it's bad for the Prosecutor when he has to convince the jury to overlook the inconsistencies of the accusors witnesses's testimonies vs. their actual statements the day of the incident. Joseph's detailed approach fleshed all of that out of the trial. Afterwards, there were a number of court workers and jury members asking for his contact information because he was that good. My divorce lawyers want to work with him for futures cases. Overall, one of the best I've seen.

I hired Mr. Patituce and his law firm after a string of unsuccesful attorneys. I wanted to go to his firm in the first place, however, I initiall went with an attorney who called himself "seasoned" and who said that a lawyer with "only" four years of experience would put me in prison. The truth is that the "seasoned" attorney never returned my phone calls, never told me what was going on, and every time I saw him at court he was laughing and joking with the prosecutor. Mr. Patituce was none of that, he returned my phone calls within a day at most. Most of the time he called me back within an hour. It was the best decision of my life to hire him. I walked out the door free, rather than going to prison.

We hired attorney Patituce to defend our son. Our son is a medical student in the Cleveland area and any type of criminal conviction could derail that. I found Joe to be incredibly professional, responsive, and willing to work with what some people might call demanding parents.
We live in California and our son was in trouble thousands of miles away. It was the best decision I could have made to hire his firm. Other attorneys I called were either cut rate (cheap) or heard that my son was in med school and wanted to charge a fortune. Joe was expensive, but he gave me his price before he found out - and he never changed his price, despite the tremendous amount of work he and his team put in.

It is rarely pleasant when you have to hire an attorney, but Mr. Patituce and his staff made it as good as possible. Professional team, great communication, and a victory all combine to make for an experience I remember positively.
I highly recommend Mr. Patituce and his firm.

Joe is a terrific and well respected lawyer. The talent that he offers to his clients is unique in the sense that he was a successful prosecutor before opening his own criminal defense firm. Who better to test the weaknesses in the prosecution's case than someone who used to be a prosecutor himself? Very tough, very tenacious lawyer who gets results for his clients.
Colette Tvedt, Criminal defense Attorney
I was looking for a referral for a good lawyer in Ohio for a friend. Joe Patituce came highly recommended by several lawyers in Ohio. He provided steller representation and got an amazing disposition. I enthusiastically endorse Joseph Patituce.
