Attorney J. Anthony Rich has appeared on Court TV as a guest legal analyst and featured Defense Lawyer three times since leaving his role as an Assistant State Prosecuting Attorney. Rich served the State of Ohio in Lorain County and Marion Counties and was additionally appointed to serve as a Special Prosecutor in Stark and Wayne Counties during his tenure with the Government. Anthony has appeared on the "Best Defense" with Jami Floyd and Ron Kuby, and has also appeared as a guest on "Open Court" with Ashleigh Banfield.
Anthony is routinely hired in some of Northeast Ohio's most serious cases and has been Lead Trial Counsel in over 10 Murder cases in the last 5 years. Anthony has also represented multiple police officers and court personnell charged with crime. He has further co-counselled 3 Capital Cases as a licensed Rule 20 practitioner with the Ohio State Supreme Court.
To date, Anthony HAS NOT LOST A JURY TRIAL as a Criminal Defense Lawyer.
Anthony was elected PRESIDENT of the OHIO ASSOCIATION OF CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYERS in October 2013. He has previously served as an Executive Board Member at the OACDL for three years.
Anthony is the Co-chair of the Lorain County Bar Association's Criminal Law Section and serves on the Lorain County Bar Association's Ethics and Grievance Committee. Anthony also routinely serves as Acting Judge in his hometown at the Lorain Municipal Court.
