This category includes all legal actions that result in the termination of marriage or separation. Under Ohio law, this includes dissolutions, divorces, annulments, and legal separations.

Including child custody actions between unmarried parents, post-divorce/dissolution modifications of custodial arrangements or parenting time schedules, child support issues, Grandparents' rights, and/or contempt actions to enforce your orders.

Child Support 5%

Cases involving minor children address the issue of child support. I have included this as 5% of my practice because this is a subset of the other categories. In addition, the CSEA can issue support orders and one should know their rights.

Family 5%

There some circumstances that do not fit into the broader categories, such as cases involving common law marriage, divorces or custody cases involving same-sex couples, prenuptial or ante-nuptial agreements, spousal support modification actions, etc.

Marriage and Prenuptials 5%

A well-written prenuptial agreement is very important, because a poorly-written agreement could be set aside by the Court. It is important to have an attorney draft yours, rather than attempt it on your own.

Uncontested Divorce 5%

Most contested divorces settle by agreement of the parties. Such cases are therefore called "uncontested." Although most cases settle in this manner, I have included this as 5% of my practice because it is a subset of "Divorce & Separation."

Would use again if necessaary

David did a great job in getting me visitation rights to my grandson. At every step of the way I was kept informed of the current status of the case as well as what the next steps were. Never Gives up!

I hired David for my child custody case and couldn't have asked for a better lawyer for this! He was extremely thorough with his initial consult and all the way through the final court proceedings.
