Andrea D. Sipes is a native of Middleton, Hardeman County, Tennessee. She graduated from Middleton High School in 2000. She graduated with honors from Jackson State Community College in 2003 with an Associates of Science degree in pre-law. Andrea attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she graduated, summa cum laude, in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in history and political science. Andrea attended law school at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law where she graduated, magna cum laude, in 2009.

While in law school, Andrea was a member of the Moot Court Board and received the honors of Best Oral Advocate and Honorable Mention for Best Brief in the 2007 Advanced Moot Court Competition. Andrea was admitted to the bar in 2009 and is licensed to practice in Tennessee and the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.

In 2012, Andrea was awarded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as being one of Jackson’s Finest Young Professionals. Andrea practiced, first as an associate and then as a partner, at the law firm of Hardee, Martin & Donahoe from 2009 until 2016.

In July 2016, Andrea opened her own law firm – Sipes Law, PLC – in Jackson, Tennessee. Andrea practices in West Tennessee in the areas of family law and appeals.

The best attorney a guy could have!
I have several pieces of advice... First, and foremost, don't get an exwife. Second - get a prenup. Third, if you didn't take my advice on the first two (I didn't) & find yourself searching for an atty - reading this trying to determine who to choose - get Andrea (I did). She can't fix your stupidity (or the consequences that follow) but is excellent in taking your case / situation & getting the best possible outcome "given the circumstances..." I say "given the circumstances" STRONGLY because there's only so much any one person can do given the circumstances, legal precedent, judge, etc... I can't imagine a higher level of service or a more knowledgeable attorney who serves their client better than she did with me. Billing is reasonable, fair, honest, & upfront. I hired Andrea for her advice & guidance - not for me to tell her what to do - which is a different approach than some people take. Use her wisely, & you'll be thankful you did... I won't be getting a divorce again (you can't get a divorce if you don't get married :) ), but will 100% recommend her to anyone needing her help!

I was had a contested divorce and my ex did not follow through with the agreement. I almost lost my house. She took the case and all is great and I am back in good standing with mortgage!!! Alimony being paid. Cannot be anyone better in my opinion.

Honest, trustworthy, and excellent
Andrea was my divorce attorney years ago. I didn’t realize how skilled she was until I had to deal with other attorneys. She is specific and concise. She doesn’t do the bare minimum. She goes above and beyond most lawyers in this area. Plus, free consultation, and her retainer policy is more than fair.

I have had her for a year and she had accomplished more things in that time than my past attorney Hopson whom I've had for 3yrs+ prior to meeting Andrea. Straight forward and with no nonsense tolerated.

Efficient, Smart, and helpful!
Andrea is handling a custody case for me. She is no nonsense. Let's me know upfront what the law is and what can expect each and every step during this horrible process. He staff is also very courteous and helpful. I don't want to work with a lawyer every again. But if the need arose I would hire Andrea Lester again!

Outstanding! Andrea is an excellent attorney and will provide superb representation.
From the beginning, I knew I was lucky to have Andrea defending me. She is very upfront regarding the situation. She thoroughly explained the charges and possible outcomes. However, it was evident from the start that she is here to defend my best interests and did nothing less but fully dedicate her services with all her ability to achieve a favorable outcome by successfully illustrating my side of the story. Fair and honest
She was exceptionally fair in her billing procedures. My legal fees were expensive but competitive. I never felt that I was being overcharged or that the bill was padded with unnecessary activities. She made her billing policies clear to me prior to taking my case. I feel she did work toward my best interest but she was brutally realistic about possible netative outcomes for the case. She offered no false sense of unrealistic results. So...though my case was resolved less favorably than I had hoped for, I was not unprepared and realize the outcome was due to certain facts of the case. I would use her again.

She pretty much took my money and sit back and did nothing to help me with my divorce. I thought she was a very highly respected lawyer, but I was wrong. She never would call me back or answer any of my questions. This shouldnt be allowed when you pay people and trust them.
