Darren Drake

Mr. Drake is an excellent attorney. He helped me with my first charge and made my life easier at the time. I thought I might possibly serve some time with my offense but Mr. Drake did fantastic with getting me probation with not a very expensive fee either. If you consult Darren you will see that he ...is a straight up honest man and will have a very accurate answer for what you are possibly facing before you ever see the courtroom. Mr. Drake also got my best friends cased dismissed, who is actually a 7 time convicted felon and was out on parole at the time. I talked to my buddy earlier today and he told me that I did great job on referring him to Mr. Drake and that he was honestly the best lawyer he's had. Needless to say I think that is a very good lawyer because he's got out of many criminal charges and served plenty of time. Till this day, I can call him at anytime and ask him questions about my probation and even random questions like, for instance, something about my college work and he's great help. I had been looking for an attorney for my son for his 2nd probation violation, stemming from a wreck less endangerment charge. I called and met with several attorneys, in Murfreesboro. Each one wanted to charge 1500-2000 to take his case, and were still unsure what the outcome would be. Needless to... say, we became very frustrated. So we happened to be walking past Attorney Darren Drakes office and we decided to call and see if we could be seen. Darren was able to see us immediately. After speaking with him, we were absolutely elated! First of all, he literally charged half the price, told us exactly what to expect, and gave us his personal cell number, in case we needed to contact him. Every single time we had to contact him, he would respond back within 3-5 minutes, and I mean EVERY single time. When it came down to our court date, Darren got us everything he said he would!! Our daughter is a recovering alcoholic who was determined to get her life back on track, had a few bad days, relapsed, wrecked her car, was arrested for her second DUI and ended up in jail. I bailed her out and she again tried to get her life back on track. She wanted a lawyer to represent her as she... was probably going to face jail time. I did not care to pay for a lawyer - again; but felt our daughter was sincere in her efforts to get her life back. So I checked online, read reviews on Darren Drake, liked what I read, and contacted him to discuss our daughter's situation and the possibility of soliciting his help. I did not participate in most of the discussions between our daughter and Darren as those were none of my business. However, my daughter would share her impressions of Darren with me, although I never asked for her impressions. Darren worked with our daughter and addressed all of her questions, concerns, anxieties, etc; and was instrumental in getting our daughter through her legal issues. He would always return her calls as soon as he could, and was there for her before, during and after her court appearances. For those who have dealt with family members who are alcoholics and who need a second, third, etc. chance and need legal representation and some ideas on how best to get on with their life, then I would highly recommend working with Darren Drake. Although alcoholism cannot be cured, it can be controlled; but the alcoholic is the only one who can control control it. An addict/alcoholic committed to getting their life back on track is facing an uphill battle. Darren Drake can make the uphill battle a little less confrontational from a legal point of view. And in some cases, he can suggest alternative approaches (e.g. the county's DUI program - as in our daughter's case) to enhance one's road to recovery - but only if the addict/alcoholic is committed to a sober and much better life.
