Keep Looking

Do not hire Dan Ross. He is unprofessional and will never return your calls. He is a defense attorney but gave off body language that he was on the victim's side. At sentencing, he turned to his own client and shook his head while victim impact statements were read. Dan Ross is NOT on your side a...nd is NOT someone you want defending you or your loved one. He should rethink being a defense attorney if he thinks so low of his clients.

Ross is not a good attorney he requested the max sentence he took all my money and did not drop a charge and was in favor of the victim I was never able to talk to him he would not answer to my voicemails I would highly not recommend him!

Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel in Missouri got it right in 2011!

I hired and paid Attorney Dan Ross while acting as the Power of Attorney for a loved one. Daniel J. Ross was paid in excess of $75,000. Once paid, he left his client in his rearview mirror. When more assertive efforts were made to get Mr. Ross do his job, he retaliated and completely laid down on his... client. The sentence received reflects Dan Ross' dereliction of duties and is far worse than what he quoted when his client was deciding whether to plea or go to trial. The Supreme Court of Missouri manages the state's lawyer discipline system through its Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel (OCDC). Having now received a copy of the 24 page report from the OCDC regarding Dan Ross' disciplinary action in 2011, it is clear other individuals and families experienced exactly what we have. Our letter to the OCDC is in the mail. Dan Ross putting you on notice that any efforts to retaliate or intimidate will not be tolerated.

HORRIBLE

I cannot even begin to tell you how this attorney took advantage of our vulnerable family! He did nothing with the money he was given and actually got his client a harsher sentence than what was offered as a plea deal. Never heard another word from him! Was horrible about getting back with us when... we had a question. I DO NOT recommend!

Dan Ross the crime boss

Daniel Ross criminal defense attorney is the powerhouse attorney of the state of Missouri he is not afraid to fight for his clients and stand up for their constitutional rights state and federal I would have to say he's the Johnny Cochran of the state of Missouri has very good professional ethics he'...s a hard hitter and when he walks in the courtroom you can tell it's his courtroom. and he enjoys to finding clients that has high profile cases he's a winner and overachiever and most of all a great guy that has morals and respect and accomplish and achieve a lot in this criminal defense practice she's the only person I would refer my family and friends too.

"It is laughable that Dan Ross has such a low AVVO rating. He is generally recognized by all practicing criminal defense lawyers in Kansas City that Dan Ross is one of the best trial lawyers in the state. He is the Godfather of the Criminal Defense Community. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Ross and would hire him myself if I needed a creative criminal defense lawyer. Ignore the score. Listen to his peers."
