also known as Bill Nolan
I am a charter member of the Alabama State Bar's Elder Law bar section. I don't practice divorce or criminal defense or bankruptcy or real estate closings or immigration law. All I do, every day, is work with seniors and their adult children, to give them all peace of mind that all the dangers that might lie ahead have been addressed. We have a full-time Social Worker on our team too, and her job is to take care of our clients whenever they have a non-legal need arise. Many of our clients have children who have moved away and they have no close family to help them. My Social Worker becomes their surrogate daughter- taking them to the doctor's appointments, helping them balance their checkbook, supervising sitters and arranging regular Facetime calls with the kids, wherever they might be. Just a little something extra we provide our clients.

When we had to move Dad from Hospital to Nursing Home with an expectation of long term Medicaid needs, I needed good advice fast. Somehow I came across Bill’s first blog, where he said he saw himself as an elder advocate. Sounded like a nice guy, so I moved on to his main website and left a contact r...

Unfortunately he couldn't represent me but his compassion and advice came across as more compassionate and considered my feelings as more important than money. I have talked to many lawyers and none projected this as well as he did. Thanks David
"As a bankruptcy and consumer protection attorney in Alabama, I often have clients who have some sort of elder law, estate planning or probate issue. Whenever that happens I always call Bill; he always knows the answers to my questions."
"Bill and I have known each other for several years. As an attorney and the owner of a Home Care company, I have been able to see various elder care attorneys in Birmingham and Mobile, and Bill is one of the most conscientious and caring attorneys there is. Bill not only knows how to help families plan for end of life issues, but he can also help with financial issues and many other problems which arise when our parents age. If you are trying to navigate the maze of Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits, or long term care insurance or if you just need some estate planning to get affairs in order, Bill would be one of the best attorneys you could hire!"
"I endorse this lawyer. Bill Nolan is an outstanding attorney and a credit to the legal profession. I highly recommend his legal services."
"Bill is the go to lawyer for estate planning and elder law issues. Bill is highly skilled and can help families, too, including veterans."
"Bill Nolan has been helping families dealing with Elder Law and Estate Planning matters for many years. He is very well-respected in the legal community, and is highly knowledgeable of the particular issues facing elderly clients and their families. I am happy to endorse this attorney."
"Bill is a caring and generous member of the community and has a passion for serving the aging population."
