Micah Adkins represents identity theft victims and consumers with credit report, employment background report and tenant screening report errors. His clients include consumers whose credit reports are mixed with family members or strangers and identity theft victims. The Adkins Firm maintains offices in Alabama, Colorado, Tennessee and Texas.
He represents consumers under federal consumer protection statutes, such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Micah regularly litigates against the “big three” nationwide consumer reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian and Trans Union) across the U.S. Micah earned his bachelor of science degree from The Univeristy of Texas, at Dallas, with honors. He earned his law degree from Samford Univeristy, Cumberland School of Law, where he also serviced as a Justice on the Honor Court.
Mr. Adkins is admitted to practice law in Alabama, Tennessee and Texas. He is also admitted to numerous federal courts including:

He has also been admitted on motion to other federal district courts across the country, including California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oregon, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.
Mr. Adkins has been recognized as a Top Consumer Lawyer by members of the Birmingham Bar Association and rated by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2014 and 2015, Mid-South Rising Star in 2016 and 2017, and a Super Lawyer in 2019-2022.
