Joseph Charles Somma

I live in Texas and have a grandson in Birmingham, AL who needed legal council for getting custody privileges for his son. I was given a couple of names and when I called Joe Somma; he had me at hello. He is very professional but at the same time endearing. He discussed what would need to take place;... very clearly outlined the process. At time things got a little contentious but Mr. Somma was always calm and calmed me. If I disagreed with something, we talked it out and if he agreed with what I said he would reroute the course. What I appreciated most was that he explained everything to me , making I understood what each step meant and didn’t proceed until it was clear that I did. I felt he was looking out for the best interest of our case. He is very fair and I felt honest. Mr.Somma’s fees are fair. Our case was settled with the satisfaction of both sides which I feel is rare. He is that willing to work to that end.

It is not easy in Alabama for a father to get full custody of his daughter. Mr. Sommas was relentless in my case, and we won. In my opinion, he worked far over and above the money I paid, in order to make sure that my daughter was in a safe and stable environment, which is with me. He does not remind... me of most other lawyers I have met or dealt with. He really cares about his cases and the people involved. He is passionate about children. I was very pleased with my entire experience, and I will not use any other family law attorney in the future besides Mr. Sommas. He has also done my will and trust for my daughter and went above and beyond to make sure she will be cared for in the even that something happens to me. I highly recommend him.

I just wanted to express my gratitude for the child custody case that Joe managed for me.
