Biography
Julia Dolman graduated from The University of Tampa, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Criminology. Before starting law school, Julia worked in the legal field gaining valuable insight into the area of insurance litigation and interned for the United States House of Representatives on Capitol Hill. Julia graduated from Stetson University College of Law, Cum Laude, with Honors. While in law school, Julia was Captain of Stetson's National Moot Court Team, earning two consecutive Regional Championships and Best Brief Awards and Julia's team became the first in Stetson's history to win the New York City Bar's National Moot Court Competition—one of the oldest and most prestigious law school competitions in the country. During the competition, the American College of Trial Lawyers awarded Julia with a Best Advocate Award.
Throughout law school, Julia was an active member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity, the Bruce R. Jacobs Appellate Inn of Court and the ABA Law Student Division. Julia also received the Highest Grade Award in Contracts, Pretrial Practice and Florida Probate.
In addition to pursuing her passion to become a litigator, Julia has acquired knowledge into the intricacies of our legal system by serving as a judicial intern to the Honorable Chris Altenbernd and the Honorable Darryl C. Casanueva at the Second District Court of Appeal, as well as the Honorable William P. Levens and the Honorable Nicolas Nazaretian at the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Tampa.
Upon graduating from Stetson, Julia was presented with the Michael P. Allen Award for Excellence and Professionalism—an award given to the member of the graduating class who combines the qualities of academic achievement, skill in both oral and written advocacy, professionalism, and civility.
Today, Julia combines her passion for advocacy and helping those who are injured as an associate attorney at Dolman Law Group. She practices in the areas of personal injury, trucking and motorcycle accidents, traumatic brain injury, wrongful death and insurance carrier bad faith. Julia is dedicated to serving her clients with the utmost degree of zeal, diligence and integrity. In fact, her clients are given her personal cell phone number and encouraged to contact her with any concerns they may have during the pendency of their case. Julia resides in Tampa and in her free time enjoys swimming, biking and fishing.
