Biography
For 26 years, I have practiced law in the Tampa Bay area. My first tenure was 4.5 years with the State Attorney's Office, where I was allowed to develop my skills as a trial lawyer conducting over 80 trials. Under daily deadlines, complicated and pressure-filled situations; I prosecuted over 80 trials, including hundreds of misdemeanors and felonies motions, both legal and evidentiary, attended scores of depositions, and prepared the testimony of hundreds of witnesses, victims, and law enforcement officers
In 2001, I accepted a position with the law firm of Frazer, Hubbard, et al, where I continued to sharpen my skills as a trial lawyer and became immersed in the field of civil and municipality law. I grew as a professional, met and provided legal advice to local city commissioners, mayors and law enforcement.
In 2004, I established my own practice concentrating on criminal defense, and have enjoyed the clients I have met and represented. My criminal experience is extensive in the prosecution and defense of criminal law, especially, DUI law. As a prosecutor and defense attorney, I have attended and completed numerous seminars in the field of DUI law, to include, the maintenance of the breath alcohol machine, Driving Patterns, Police/Citizen Contact, Field Sobriety Exerices, Florida Implied Consent Law, and Breath Alcohol Reading. I have lectured on DUI law, in Tampa and Palm Beach, respectively, and have had numerous articles published in criminal and civil law.
In 2020, I was very fortunate to be offered a position with The Ticket Clinic, a well-established, major law firm that has established itself as a premiere litigation firm in civil traffic infractions, driver's licenses, criminal traffic and DUIs.
I graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A., majoring in History, minor in Psychology. Subsequently, I earned my law degree from the Mercer School of Law in 1996.
For over 20 years, I was a professor for the School of Business at the University of Phoenix (Central Florida Campus), where I instructed undergraduate and graduate students on Political Science, Criminal Justice, History, and Law. In 2017, I accepted a position as an adjunct professor with Everglades University teaching Construction Law, Business Law, and Ethics.

Lawyer review
Richard was on top of everything and made sure I understood everything that was going on. He answered all my questions and went out of his way to meet with me to do so. I would highly recommend him to anyone that has legal issues and would use him again if I do. But let's hope I don't.
