Custody fight

I hired Mr. Mcginn I believe 3 yrs ago now for a custody battle as time went on the attorney and paralegal have been extremely hard to reach communication is just not there. 2nd their not very aggressive either, although I did win the case 3months ago these things still haunt me as I expressed my con...cerns on the situation and still to this day after winning my case im still awaiting proper paper work on the outcome so yeah the firm got the job done but be prepared to pay for stalling and may be easier to go to the office to get any questions answered but im glad I won im more happy for dcf that took my kids from there other parent while im still waiting on paperwork if it wasn't for them whom knows what would happen waiting, lord knows how much longer, good attorney but those two flaws hurt.

They are too busy after they get your money to actually deal with your case

I have hired Mike the first time to get an injunction...he failed and getting me protected from a stalker. The second time I hired him was for my custody battle. The only reason I did was because he was familiar with me. So here comes the custody case he rolled over to rinky Parwani like a fat cat. I... had to sign a horrible settlement agreement which I have monthly obligations I must meet. The bill just kept creeping up and up. Paper I gave his paralegal who I can can say has a attitude because she’s “overwhelmed” I’ve heard this for month and months. 3 times I moved not 1 change of address filed. Monthly paperwork given took week for her to file. I visited the clerks office and saw the terrible job they were doing after speaking with mike telling me he wanted to file a contempt charge (just a way to hustle more money from me) ‘I gave them one last phone call to get my stuff done and done right away and right. Hours later he decided to bail on representing me. What a relief I don’t have to deal with Monika anymore!!! I went back to the clerks office fixed everything they didn’t do. And called for my file and got the same response “we are so busy” well I better have it this coming week for my new lawyer who is appalled at their practice. I do not recommend mike he will take your money and leave you hanging.

The attorney/client privilege prevents me from responding directly to any of the claims you have made in your review. I can say that any settlement agreements my clients enter into are with their full knowledge and approval. And in this particular case the client informed the court that she was in agreement and approved of the settlement. In regards to fees and my billing, going to court and litigating is expensive. I work hard to make sure my clients can afford my services and offer many payment plans/options. As you can see from the many other positive reviews I am truly dedicated to helping my clients solve their problems.

He made our family whole!

We have been dealing with a nasty custody battle for the past 4 years. We came to Mr. Mcginn as a last resort because we were not getting anywhere with the child's mother. When we came to Mr. McGinn he sat down with us and allowed us to tell him our situation, he asked tons of questions and in the e...nd of the conversation asked us what we would like to get out of our case. My boyfriend was requesting every other weekend Mr. Mcginn made us aware that we were entitled to 50-50 custody and regardless of what anyone had told us in the past that if that was what we wanted that is what he would fight for. The ease at which we went through the case was amazing and even after receiving our initial custody arrangement he assisted us through her mother attempting to make us lose the custody we fought so hard to get. Every time you spoke to those who did it with dignity and respect. He is not one of those condescending lawyers he truly wants to help. I will recommend him to anyone that asked me I have already made over 20 recommendations and will continue to as long as he is practicing. Like my title stated 2 years later our family is whole and we have him to thank for that.
