Thank you, Ben Stechschulte and team! You and your team guided us through the legal and court system during a difficult time. I know we simply walked up to your office, but you made time for us, and we appreciated that gesture. My child made a mistake and your team efficiently directed us through the system resulting in a chance to return to college and continue a “normal” life again after this misstep.

Ben and his team are a phenomenal group! They are organized and very knowledgeable regarding the process. I felt very confident that I was in good hands with his help. Highly recommend.

I give Ben Stechschulte 5 stars because I was falsely accused and my career was in trouble. The end result was a non jury hearing and the judgement was not guilty. He kept communication open through the whole process and I only appeared in court once. I won my case because of the great representation.

From beginning to end, I was taken seriously and treated professionally. What I also appreciated is that there was no sugar coating when it came to talking about the details of my case, and the actions I needed to take in order to benefit myself in regards to receive the least punishment at my disposition.
Additionally, Ben went above and beyond in ensuring I received the least consequences from my circumstances, and in return, my DUI was stipulated and I avoided additional fine amount, ignition interlock, and impounding if my vehicle.
I highly recommend Ben and the Nell Stechschulte Law Firm for your legal matters!

Ben Stechshulte's firm are outstanding lawyers! They take so much time with your case, no matter the size of the situation. In my situation, I needed a restraining order on a neighbor that was a clear threat. Ben and Amy worked very hard to present the case with great thoroughness standing up against the defense with vigor and determination to present the truth. Not only did they win, but were always there for me through the process. Both, had a great attention to detail, patience, time to talk to me, and really worked to make sure my case was presented properly. They supported me through the beginning to the end then followed up afterwards. I don't know if I would have won without hiring them, because they really cared about my situation and gave it 110% percent in their pursuit of justice. I am most grateful and thankful to have worked with this law firm! I highly recommend them to anyone in any situation! Excellent attorneys!

I found this to be very poor quality professionalism.
I had to get another attorney.
I was afraid I would not get the best defense considering the difficulty I had in communicating with him and how the details of my case had been handled.
The only direction given by him was to get character reference letters and something from a doctor about a medical issue pertaining to the case.
On multiple occasions, I did not receive answers to emails for many days and sometimes at all. I purposely waited about a week to not bug him too much. Questions in emails were completely ignored.
He told me that he sent me all the character reference letters that he received. Multiple character reference letters which were sent including one from my psychologist, and one from my boss (which talked specifically about an issue related to the case) are not in the file he sent. I had confirmations those emails were sent to him and not rejected.
He asked me how long, conservatively, getting medical evaluations would take. I said 3 months because it is taking a long time getting these things accomplished. In court the judge seemed open about being asked for a longer time period before the next court date yet he told her that we can check in 45 days from that date.
Each time I appeared in court it was anxiety producing and causing missed work. My new attorney told me I was not required to appear at all for all of the basic court dates.
I asked several times for Ben to get a copy of a document that could possibly have had the case dismissed. He said he would. I never saw this document at all. In the end he claimed that he had seen the document and it would be irrelevant. There was no copy ever provided to me or in the my file. I cannot believe as an attorney he would not get a copy of a document that was important enough to have the client request it numerous times and important enough to go see.
Because of these facts and conversations we had, I had continually felt that he had not placed enough serious importance on my case to get me the best outcome.
I have paid him $5000 in a non-refundable contract. I would have appreciated some credit, in good faith, based on my perception of the work done and the work that no longer had to be done by him. I requested it but it was denied.
I had no intention or desire to have to go spend more money on another attorney but I felt that it was what I had to do for my best interests.
I would recommend using another attorney.

Mr. Stechschulte worked with the District Attorney to have my charges dropped, I never had to see a court room. Experienced, knowledged, and compassionate I would recommend him to anyone.

My daughter was charged with felony drug possession in Collier County, one of Florida's most conservative counties. She has a license for medical marijuana in the state of California but made the mistake of bringing edible marijuana to Florida during a visit. She was pulled over by a Florida State Trooper for failing to move over a lane for a Sheriff's Deputy who was parked on the shoulder at night with no lights on. The Trooper and the Deputy proceeded to intimidate her into consenting to search her rental car. She was arrested her for the full weight of the gummy bear edibles, hence the felony possession charge. I was referred to Mr. Stechshulte by my divorce attorney. Thank goodness! Every attorney I looked for online claimed to be the best and implied that they could get just about any case thrown out of court! Although Ben's main focus is on the Tampa Bay area, he agreed to take my daughter's case for a very reasonable fee. Ben was able to get my daughter's charges reduced to misdemeanor possession and she never even had to appear in court! Given the fact that she's a California resident, the travel expense would have been sizable. The final judgment was 12 months probation, no drug testing, a substance abuse evaluation, and eligibility for early termination of probation after 6 months. I don't even have words to express how grateful we are for Ben's professional expertise, his willingness to go above and beyond, and how kind and comforting he was to us throughout the nightmare of my daughter's arrest. Ben, thank you so much for all you've done! God forbid we should ever go through something like this again, I have your number in speed dial! God Bless.
