Mario Emille Torres III

Mario E. Torres, III, founded torres|benet, p.a in 2006.  Located in Lutz, FL. and servicing the Greater Tama Bay Area torres|benet, p.a. focuses in Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Family Law, Wills/Trust/Estate Law and Personal Injury Law. To date Mario has successfully handled several hundred cases with the mission of thinking reasonably and coming up with rational problem solving solutions.  Prior to commencing a career in the legal profession Mario worked in advertising/marketing.  
 
Mario attained his B.S. in Advertising with a focus on global semblance vs. local market barriers and his Master’s degree in Mass Communications with a focus on qualitative/quantitative research and the theoretical analysis of international communication from the University of Florida

During undergrad Mario was an active member of the International Advertising Association and Ad Society.  Mario was selected as team captain of the International Advertising Association and in back to back years (98/99) won the International Advertising Association (IAA) National Championship for Strategic and Creative Global Marketing Campaign targeted at a Global Audience/Market (the school’s first and second awards ever received by the IAA).  He worked as an advisor to the International Advertising Association during his Master’s Degree until he decided to enter law school.  

Mario graduated in 2004 with his law degree from Barry University, Dawyne O. Andreas School of Law, in Orlando.  While attending Barry University Mario was a Trial Team Member, the Vice President of the Student Bar Association, the President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, a Member of the Hispanic American Legal Student Association and a Member of Phi Alpha Delta.  He was honored by the Student Bar Association as the Executive Board Member of the Year in 2003-2004 and honored by the Trial Team for Outstanding Mock Trial Performance in 2003-2004.  

While in law school, Mario worked part time at Draves and Beame, P.A. a firm located in downtown Orlando which focused on Family Law and Entertainment Law. After completing law school he moved to Tampa, Florida and worked at Joel B. Fein, P.A., a small boutique law firm in Brandon, Florida that specialized in Bankruptcy, Social Security, Estate Law and Civil Litigation.  

In June of 2006 Mario decided to establish torres|benet, p.a., a full-service Greater Tampa Bay law firm specializing in civil litigation, family law and real estate law.  He established torres|benet, p.a. as a one stop tri-county legal firm that can serve clients with knowledge, skill, loyalty, creativity, perseverance, and care while maintaining the firms mission of thinking reasonably and coming up with rational problem solving solutions.  Mario is fluent in Spanish and frequently conducts informational lectures with the Hillsborough County Bar Association on various topics of law.  

He is happily married and the proud father of three lovely girls.  He enjoys sports, world travel and is an active member of his community.
