The Social Security Disability process is overwhelming to say the least but with the right guidance and support backing you up it reduces the stress greatly. I hired Mr. Viera in 2017 to try and help me get approved for SSI. I suffer from extreme anxiety, panic attacks, depression, bipolar, etc...During our first appointment I was really nervous and suffering from a panic attack. I didn’t know or understand anything about SSI, lawyers or judges, but Mr. V...iera was very nice and understanding. He has always been professional and has always taken the time to explain everything and ask if I had any questions to make sure I understood everything to the best of my ability. The first time we tried to make a case we got denied. Which Mr. Viera told me would happen. Everybody always gets denied the first time and to expect the possibility that it could take a really long time and multiple tries before I even got a hearing. Luckily though we had gathered enough for my case that on are second try we got a hearing before a judge. On the day of my hearing I was having one of my worst panic attacks ever. I had not slept for a few days because I was so scared. Mr. Viera and I sat down and went over everything about possible questions the judge would ask me and how I should try to answer the questions. When it was time for my hearing Mr. Viera was called in first to see the judge. I was nervous because I didn’t know why my lawyer was being called in without me. Luckily when Mr. Viera came out to get me with his talk with the judge and the lady who was present to help out the judge with making a decision. The judge could see how bad of a panic attack I was having. He was extremely nice and understanding. The judge didn’t want to make things worse for me. So he ask me to come in for about maybe five minutes. He said that he was requesting that I see a counselor (It wasn’t a counselor, but I’m saying counselor because I can’t remember her actual title) She was to do an interview with me (I can’t remember how to spell the actual name of our session) Then she sent her report and recommendation into the judge. With Mr. Viera and the lady’s report and recommendation I was approved on my first hearing. I am so incredibly happy and grateful to not only Mr. Viera but with everybody who helped me win my case. I was very lucky to not only be approved but to be approved so quickly. I was also lucky with the judge on my case for being so unbelievably understanding and kind. I’m very grateful and I truly do recommend hiring Mr. Viera because if it wasn’t for him not only taking me seriously but also be kind and understanding. I probably never would have even tried to apply for SSI. I also want to give a shout-out to Vicki who is Mr. Viera’s paralegal. Vicki is so sweet and understanding as well. Anytime I had any questions or needed help and Mr. Viera was unavailable. Vicki was always right there to help. If I called and she didn’t pick up. I would leave a message and hear back from Vicki within 10 minutes at the most. And if I didn’t pick up Vicki would not only graciously leave me a message but she would also send me an email as well answering my questions. Thank you so much Mr. Viera and Ms. Vicki.
