Biography
Hunter Alston Higdon was born and raised in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Mr. Higdon was the Valedictorian of the Class of 1999 at Pascagoula High School, and he was also an All-State football player. Mr. Higdon chose to pursue his undergraduate studies at Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he also played football for the Crimson and earned a degree in Government in 2003.
After college, Mr. Higdon achieved his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law where he was a member of the prestigious Stetson Law Review. Additionally, he earned a Master’s of Business Administration from Stetson University School of Business Administration.
As a practicing attorney, Mr. Higdon has devoted his legal career to fighting for the rights of individuals who have been injured at the hands of others and for employees who have suffered unlawful experiences in the workplace. Mr. Higdon is a gladiator in the courtroom, and he regularly takes his clients’ cases to trial. In the past, Mr. Higdon has won several substantial jury verdicts for his clients, including a verdict over $2.2 million for a young woman, as well as a verdict of over $500,000 for a worker who had been treated unlawfully. Mr. Higdon also has had seven figure settlements for his injury clients, and he enjoys holding insurance companies accountable and making them pay his clients just compensation.
