I retained the services of Professor Vanessa Prieto in 2013, when my wife, who I believed was in need of Therapy, had left me, and filed for Divorce. Professor Prieto listened to me, fully appreciated my desires, took the needed steps, and was successful, through the Court system, in getting my wife... to attend Therapy with me, leading to a rapid, complete reconciliation, and withdrawal of my wife's Petition for Dissolution of our Marriage. Unfortunately, fully 2 years later, no longer attending Therapy, and unwilling to do so, my wife has slipped into her depression, again; and has again left me, seeking Dissolution of our Marriage. This time, her problems had grown to include horrible lies about me, and abuse of me. She has been refusing any more Therapy sessions; instead building a wall between us. I no longer believe I understand her problems or her motivation for what she has been doing; so despite still caring deeply for the woman she once was, I no longer feel safe having her in my home, or my life. I feel very fortunate to have been able to retain the services of Professor Prieto, again. She is as patient and understanding of my current needs, challenges and objectives as she was of those from 2013, and is proving herself to be equally compassionate and capable in leading me along this very different path.
