I am Gustavo E. Frances, a Fort Lauderdale attorney who represents people facing criminal charges. I also handle civil legal matters, like family law disputes and condominium law issues.

I graduated from Florida International University in Miami with a B.A. degree in criminal justice, and earned my law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, in Miami, where I graduated with honors.

I worked as an assistant public defender for three years before starting my own law practice. During that time, I defended hundreds of defendants with cases ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree felonies. I became familiar with many of the prosecutors and judges, and I use my knowledge to help my clients make smart choices about their own legal situations.

I have never been a pencil pusher. I am a fighter, and I fight hard to help you get the best possible results in Florida courts.

Best family law attorney

I have unfortunately been involved with many family law attorney's in the past due to a difficult divorce and children issues. Mr. Frances guided me in the right direction from the first day. He not only did a great job, he also corrected previous mistakes. I will never use a different attorney

Doesn't get any better.

Family oriented lawyer

I sat down with alot of lawyers and everyone seemed to be more interested in money. Mr. Frances took the time to have a detailed consultation and seemed to really care about how I felt. He was very helpful with payment plans and made me feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation.

Glad I hired this lawyer

I don't think another lawyer could have given me a better result. He really avoids the drama and works diligently to resolve the case. I think that he really cares about what is best for his clients and he always makes sure that the children are taken care of.

Great Lawyer!

My husband and I live in Central Florida. I found Mr. Frances through a website. He handled my husband domestic violence case. He was very quick in answering us back with our request, he gave us all possible scenario's and how we were going to handle them. He was realistic and very resourceful. Needless to say he made this incredibly hard process so much more bareable and easier to handle. The case was subsequently dismissed (very quickly i might add). This shows that he definitly gets the job done. Mr Frances is a lawyer you need to hire!!! I will always be greatful for what he did for my family.

Great lawyer for family issues

I hired Mr. Frances to assist me with my child support payments and seeing my son. He was very quick and effective. He negotiated the case without having to go to mediation and saved me a ton of money in support payments. I am also able to spend more time with my son now.

Love this guy

This was one of the worst experiences of my life, but the lawyer explained everything to me and walked me through a complicated process. he got me exactly what I wanted, and I would recommend him to anyone!

couldn't be happier

When I started I had a public defender and they were telling me I was going to do to prison. I hired Mr. Frances and he got my case dismissed. I now have a second chance at life. Thank you so much!

Fantastic Lawyer

Mr. Frances was well worth the money I paid. He kept me from having to go to jail and managed to get most of my charges dismissed. If I ever get in trouble again, I know who to call
