Milene Hernandez

Milene did not provide adequate advice on my case. Her team was disorganized I missed important deadlines. After I fired Milene as a lawyer, she rushed to complete additional work on my case without my approval and sent me a hefty bill that I had to dispute in court. The case was not resolved but ...she still filed a lien on my property. This is the type of lawyer that goes against her clients.

I hired Milene for my divorce and I ended up with debt and no results. She met with me many times and sent many papers to the court which I was charged for all of the work and ended up hearing her trying to convince me that my husband would win. I was devasted during the mediation and she showed no s...ympathy towards me and ran out of the court room the moment it was over with no results. I believe she doesn't know the law well, doesn't know how to fight for your rights according to the law, and really only cares about getting paid. The office would also take my paid time to speak with my ex and send him reminders as if working for him instead of me. Even though I was paying her she never had time to speak with me and wouldn't return my emails. She would have her assistant call me instead and the assistant couldn't answer certain things because as she would say to me "I'm not a lawyer". I regret hiring her I ended up with a lot of debt and NO results. Milene doesn't have the back bone to be a strong knowledgeable lawyer, so if you need a fighter she is not the lawyer you want to hire. Very disappointed and I got no results.

I spent most of the time with Milene reviewing forms I had already filled out. She provided wrong advice due her lack of knowledge of law. She and her team were very late in communicating to me critical information about the case resulting in delays and a poor outcome for my case. I think she is n...ot qualified to practice Law. She refused to meet me a couple of times until we have settled all bills even when disputing billing time she did not perform.

She is very human, tells you what is the Law and also her interpretation of it; yet this is my case, and she is also very respectful in the way things are carried out. I was, actually am. very satisfied with her knowledge, discussion level (she is always open to your ideas) and letting you know her o...pinion. In Spanish and/or English. I could not ask for more.Her staff is A++ also.

After 12yrs. of dealing with a tormenting child custody battle, Mrs. Hernandez was able to resolve my situation by assisting me with my adoption case. If fact, her entire staff worked diligently to handle this matter. This was such a crucial moment in my life and I am thankful that our paths crossed.... I would re-hire and recommend Mrs. Milene Hernandez in a heartbeat.
