I would have loved to post this sooner but I have been going crazy to undo the mess that she caused my fiancée if there was a way to give negative stars I would. Absolutely the worst attorney experience we could have imagined. From start to finish, it felt like she was working for my fiancée’s ex-wif...e instead of us. In the end, the ex walked away with everything she wanted, including a parenting plan completely on her terms. This lawyer never fought for my fiancée, not once, and yet still managed to charge us over $10,000 for what should have been a simple divorce. Even the judge was shocked it dragged on for more than two years. Every time we asked her to stand up and fight, she had an excuse for why we shouldn’t. There were multiple times she skipped our appointments because she had to take her daughter somewhere, and when we did get a meeting, she would cut us off the second our time was up — whether we were finished or not. On top of that, reaching her was next to impossible. Communication was a nightmare, and when we finally did reach her, she spent more time contradicting us than actually supporting us. The parenting plan she let pass is beyond ridiculous. Somehow, a 10- and 12-year-old were given more rights than a 17-year-old, and she didn’t challenge it once. She folded at every turn, never pushed back, and left us with an outcome that made absolutely no sense. If you want an attorney who will waste your time, drain your money, contradict everything you say, and hand the other side exactly what they want, then she’s the one. If you actually want someone to fight for you, protect your rights, and care about your case, stay far away. You’d be better off representing yourself. And before she tries to say this review isn’t valid because she didn’t “represent me” directly — it is 100% valid. I went through every step of this process with my fiancée, and I saw firsthand just how poorly this case was handled.

Requested assistance with a divorce proceeding. The first meeting went well enough, but each meeting after she was late by at least 10-30 minutes and other were rescheduled last minute, because of her inability to maintain her schedule some deadlines were missed and she kept needing to update documen...ts, when discussing details of my case she would get argumentative like she was trying to stand up for my ex-wife, she didn't pay the best attention to verbal instructions and I found myself having to redo her paperwork on some of the important stuff. All in all she cost a lot of money and it cost me just as much in my sanity. I would NOT recommend men using her divorce services.

I hired Milene for my divorce and I ended up with debt and no results. She met with me many times and sent many papers to the court which I was charged for all of the work and ended up hearing her trying to convince me that my husband would win. I was devasted during the mediation and she showed no s...ympathy towards me and ran out of the court room the moment it was over with no results. I believe she doesn't know the law well, doesn't know how to fight for your rights according to the law, and really only cares about getting paid. The office would also take my paid time to speak with my ex and send him reminders as if working for him instead of me. Even though I was paying her she never had time to speak with me and wouldn't return my emails. She would have her assistant call me instead and the assistant couldn't answer certain things because as she would say to me "I'm not a lawyer". I regret hiring her I ended up with a lot of debt and NO results. Milene doesn't have the back bone to be a strong knowledgeable lawyer, so if you need a fighter she is not the lawyer you want to hire. Very disappointed and I got no results.

Milene was very knowledgeable and guided me through the entire Divorce process. My divorce in particular was uncontested so that was very important in getting everything finalized in 4 months. The timeline would have been shorter if it was for my ex delaying in signing certain documents along the wa...y. Milene also provided her personal insight which was very helpful. Thanks Milene!
