Brian Barakat is the Managing Partner of Barakat + Bossa P.A. a litigation firm dedicated to positioning clients to negotiate from strength through aggressive litigation and trial work.
Mr. Barakat began his career at the Miami Dade State Attorneys office where he amassed an enormous amount of trial experience. While there his career skyrocketed. He was quickly appointed tot he Economic and Computer Crimes Unit. As a result of his experience in the emerging area of computer crimes and digital evidence, Mr. Barakat has been asked to lecture around the state on various topic related to technology crimes.
Since leaving the prosecutors office, Brian was recruited by some of the finest boutique litigation firms in Miami. There he learned commercial litigation from some of the best in the business. With the trial experience of a criminal prosecutor and the writing experience of a commercial litigator, Mr. Barakat opened his own firm that combined the two. This combination has produced impressive results for his clients.
Mr. Barakat is married to his lovely wife Judge Michelle Alvarez Barakat. They have two wonderful children, Derek and Anna.
