Bruce Middleton Bounds - received his B.A. degree from Lake Forest College in 1967 and his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1970. He also received a Dean's Certificate in commercial Law from Temple University Graduate Legal Studies Division in 1980. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C, New York, and the United States Supreme Court.
After working with a mid-sized law firm and a bank's legal department in Philadelphia he moved to Miami and worked with midsized and large firms in Miami and has returned to individual practice. He represents businesses and individuals including community and “super-regional” financial institutions and other lenders and borrowers in basic and sophisticated commercial, industrial and real estate loan transactions, including structuring, negotiations, loan documentation, closings, work-outs, commercial and residential foreclosures, title examinations and issuance of title insurance policies. He also represents purchasers, sellers and lenders in residential and commercial real estate transactions; counsels businesses regarding the appropriate form of organization and the preparation of partnership agreements, articles of incorporation, by-laws, organizational minutes, and issuance of share certificates. Clients in the retailing, manufacturing and distribution businesses. Preparation of asset purchase/stock purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, licensing and distribution agreements; and individuals in the preparation of wills, durable family powers of attorney, authorizations for medical treatment, affidavits of domicile and similar family planning matters; as well as the litigation which flows from all those areas of practice.

In Miami he has served as a Deacon and as vice chairman and chairman of the Board of Deacons and as a trustee and chairman of the board of trustees of Plymouth Congregational Church, Chairman of the Legislation Sub-Committee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Banking Committee, a member of the Florida Bar's Financial Institutions Committee, editor of the newsletter and a director and president of the Coral Gables Bar Association, as well as a diversified group of civic activities. While in Philadelphia he was affiliated with the World Affairs Council, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Orchestra, and served a term as a Judge of Elections in that city prior to his move to Miami.
