I was referred to Brett Schwartz by a friend facing very serious charges. He was very understanding and also very honest, walked us through the process of what could happen from beginning to end best case scenario and of course worst case scenario. I highly recommend the law firm Hager & Schwartz PA. Mr. Schwartz handled my battery/domestic violence case in such a professional and expedient manner. My wife and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary in South Beach, Florida when a hotel staffer turned what should have been the happiest vacation ...into our worst nightmare. The second night of our stay we went out clubbing, celebrating our anniversary. When we arrived back at the hotel later that night, my wife and I had an argument that resulted in a 911 call from the hotel front desk clerk. The hotel staff member called 911 and told the police we were fighting. When the police arrived, they stated; “When a 911 call is made in Florida and the caller is alleging harm, someone had to be arrested” and escorted me to jail. Since the alleged victim was my wife, the police arrested me for domestic violence. I spent the next 2 days in jail waiting for an arraignment and bail.
