I pleaded guilty to a charge in which immediately hindered my immigration status and changed my status to deportable under immigration law. 15 years had passed since my only arrest in Miami and like anyone I tried to forget and move on. I worked hard and created a productive life. I served our country at a time of war (United States Navy - after Sept. 11, 2001. I met and married my wife while stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hi. We were blessed and had 2 children. While traveling on business and trying to return to United States of America; I was stopped and held in detention (George Bush - Houston Detention Facility) due to the arrest that happened while I was a student at the University of Miami. Now Customs/Department of Homeland Defense were telling me I would have to see an immmigration judge. WOW! Can you believe a VETERAN who served at a time of war was being held captive in his own country??? Yeah... Me and my family and friends were also confused and scared! How, why, who could allow this to happen? Thanks be to GOD I researched and found the Law Offices of HAGER & SCHWARTZ. Mr. Schwartz made ONLY one promise; He would give me 100%. Mr. Schwartz was very clear and informative from the start. No hidden agenda or prolonged game plan to rake money from the person/client in a jam. There are not enough positive things I can say about Attorney Brett Schwartz and his stellar representation of a member of my family. I am an attorney myself and was frightened when a close family member was charged, and overcharged, with multiple criminal offenses. They were not blameless, but the ...charges if left undefended could have let to massive fines and even incarceration, for someone with no serious criminal convictions. Brett was hired by my family to cover a case in juvenile court for my nephew. He was unable to keep case in juvenile court and he was able to allow him to go to a program so when program is over he would not have a record. He explained everything to my family and updated us on the case. He never rus...hed because each time we appeared for court it was always some type of delay. I would recommend him to anyone for anytime of case.

Hi, my name is Rodrigue, In the beginning of December 2014, I got myself into some serious trouble with the law, I was looking at a maximum of ten years behind bars, but I do know a GOD who knows Mr Brett. and GOD directed me to Mr Brett, honestly I thought my life was done for the fact that I am no...t a us citizens, and three years before this I was ordered to be deported back to my country by in immigration judge because I didn't have proper document to stay in the U.S. and the prosecutor knew about my deportation status I was really panicking. To make a long story short Mr Brett accepted to represent me. Money was not an issue Mr Brett work out affordable monthly payment for me. Now that Mr Brett is representing me my hopes was to keep me out of jail maybe get probation or something But Mr Brett knows what best he said to me jail or probation will cause me to get deported. So Mr Brett said he's going to fight to get me a diversion program and he did. I can go on and on saying how great attorney Mr Brett is but how about you find out for yourself.
