About Nydia
Biography
Nydia's practice is primarily focused on resolving family law matters including, but not limited to, dissolution of marriage, custody, paternity, adoption and child support. Her valuable knowledge of these issues coupled with her sensitive approach to these delicate matters is what makes her a compassionate, yet effective family law attorney.
Prior to opening Streets Law, LLC, Ms. Streets was employed for more than five years by other Miami law firms wherein she also practiced primarily in the family law field. Nydia is licensed to practice law in both Florida and California and is admitted to handle federal matters in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Nydia received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, she had the opportunity to intern for the Honorable Patricia Seitz in the Florida Southern District Court and was a summer associate at a commercial litigation firm. Additionally, she participated in a certified legal internship with the Florida Department of Children and Families where she gained extensive experience in dependency proceedings.
As a member of the Junior League of Miami, Nydia devotes time to serving the community through the League's various initiatives and projects. She has also volunteered several hours with Habitat for Humanity, building homes for low-income families in Miami.

I had Ms. Streets and another lawyer when they worked for a firm Vari and Associates. From all the reviews I thought she was going to be great. However, I was given the run around for a year in a custody case. Vari and associates closed and Nydia Streets went on her own, so I had to give another...

Replied last February 20, 2020I care deeply about each of my clients, and pride myself on going above and beyond to help them through their situation. It saddens me to think that even one out of the many clients I have served in my 7+ years of practice feels otherwise. A lawyer’s duty to keep client confidences has few exceptions and in an abundance of caution I do not feel at liberty to respond in a point by point fashion in this forum. Suffice it to say that I do not believe that the post presents a fair and accurate picture of the events.
