Extremely unprofessional

I scheduled one of these "5 minute phone consultations," and received no call. At 20 minutes past our scheduled call time, I called the office and was advised that the attorneys previous call had run over. but he would call me as soon as it was finished. He never called. I called back again about ...a half an hour after, but the offices were closed by then. I sent many many emails,.but no response by email or phone ever came. But Rumph makes certain to get her 'marketing'' emails sent out diligently. If she and her staff can't even honor their commitment to a phone call, a "Five whole minute" phone call, they certainly can't be trusted to honor any commitment to your case. Find someone else or represent yourself.

The best in her field

Debi V Rumph, if you are ever in need of a residential lawyer I recommend Ms Debi Rumph. She handled my case during the most difficult time The Covid-19 Pandemic. It moved very slow but she stuck with my case. The court cases were being backed up. However, she stayed with me. For that I'm very grate...ful. To make a long story short she was able to present my case and won on all levels. Thank you Ms Debi V Rumph

She is the Attorney who will fight for you

Attorney Debi Rumph took our case. We were being sued by a landlord for unfounded charges and false repairs needed to be done. They kept our deposit, and wanted more. She not only got the deposit, and damages, but also had them pay her fees as well. we could not be happier with her services a...nd I would highly recommend her to anyone needing Tenant/Landlord help. I can only imagine that this win is one of many she is the best!! Kind, understanding and very personable to our case. Good Luck Debi Rumph in your practice and all endeavors.

She had ideas about damages I could seek that I hadn't thought of, and I felt confident in her strategy and abilities so paid her $1500. Unfortunately years later, she has been wholly ineffective and just repeatedly expressed her lack of confidence in her ability to litigate the case successfully. She played no role in getting the collection attempt by my old property manager off my credit report-I did that on my own. She had no idea I wasn't on a month to month lease despite my furnishing her a copy of the annual lease. She asked me to find an expert to determine the value of my vintage wardrobe destroyed by the mold which was so severe the floor had rotted through in my apartment. This was after I sent actual receipts, which she then asked me to put on a spreadsheet for her. She had no idea how I could find such a person, but insisted it was necessary. Attorney Rumph also said after the fact that neither her fees nor the other attorneys fees were likely to be recoverable. She did nothing at all to help and just gave reason after reason why she couldn't or shouldn't move forward. It really seemed like she doesn't believe she can successfully argue on behalf of tenants. I wouldn't waste money on what turns out to be a consultation.

Ms. Spears, as I informed you in a letter this afternoon, I not only got you the relief that you sought, but I offered you additional free repeated, emergency services. It was in those free services that I advised you as to the weaknesses in your case. I did not make your facts or your evidence. From this review, it appears as if you are dissatisfied with every attorney and landlord that you come into contact with. It all appears to all spiral into conflict. I am sorry that I cannot fix that. I also think that your review contains misstatements of fact. As I have repeatedly told you, I hope that life gets better for you, and I wish you well.

Excellent Advice

I'm dealing with a very difficult landlord and several questions as to where I stand legally. I contacted Attorney Rumph's office, and Debi called me personally to provide the information, and advice, I was seeking. If things were to escalate, I would absolutely hire her.
