She had ideas about damages I could seek that I hadn't thought of, and I felt confident in her strategy and abilities so paid her $1500. Unfortunately years later, she has been wholly ineffective and just repeatedly expressed her lack of confidence in her ability to litigate the case successfully. She played no role in getting the collection attempt by my old property manager off my credit report-I did that on my own. She had no idea I wasn't on a month to month lease despite my furnishing her a copy of the annual lease. She asked me to find an expert to determine the value of my vintage wardrobe destroyed by the mold which was so severe the floor had rotted through in my apartment. This was after I sent actual receipts, which she then asked me to put on a spreadsheet for her. She had no idea how I could find such a person, but insisted it was necessary. Attorney Rumph also said after the fact that neither her fees nor the other attorneys fees were likely to be recoverable. She did nothing at all to help and just gave reason after reason why she couldn't or shouldn't move forward. It really seemed like she doesn't believe she can successfully argue on behalf of tenants. I wouldn't waste money on what turns out to be a consultation.

From the start and all the way through to the end Debi explained everything in terms we could understand. She is reachable and always willing to answer our questions. Awesome lawyer. I had ac issue in the house I was renting and the leasing company toiled around with fixing the AC unit for over a year. They keep just band aiding the issues. My entire family was sick on and off all year when I finally realized there must be mold and tested for it and sure eno...ugh the ac handler had mold in it. They then took 2 weeks just to come out and check it and another week to replace it. By this time I had already moved my family into another house and broke the lease. Debi not only got me my $1600 security deposit back and got us legally out of the lease 6 months early but also retrieved $2000 for back rent. Debi was awesome through the entire deal which the rental company attempted to drag out. She was on top of it week by week and kept me informed through email and phone calls through the e tire process. If you are looking for a lawyer who cares look no farther. She will fight for you tooth and nail and get you the best deal possible. Stop looking for a lawyer and call her ASAP and by the way she’s very reasonable. Thx so much Debi for all your help!!!!!!!
