Great Attorney!

Extremely helpful attorney. I hired Ms. Conan some years ago, and it was a great decision. She is extremely knowledgable in representing individuals when the Florida Bar is doing any investigation. She is thorough and detailed. She helped me tremendously. I am forever indebted to her efforts. M...s. Conan is an amazing attorney with an immense heart. Highly recommended!

Outstanding Advocate! Worth Every Penny!!

In July 2015 after returning from a trip to Spain I was served with a notice to appear for an investigative hearing before the Florida Board of Bar Examiners. I was extremely nervous because I initially applied for admission to the Florida Bar in Nov 2012 so this was a drawn out ordeal. I was relieve...d in a sense to finally get closure on my situation but I wanted a competent attorney to help me for the hearing and on a recommendation by a past client of Mrs. Conan I gave her a call. During our initial call she was so soothing and listened to all my concerns and I hired her the following day. Soon after she begin to review all my paperwork (i.e., bar application, law school application, financial affidavits and all the amendments I gave to the board). She contacted me with many suggestions on how to correct my application to make it more detailed and through as I had financial defaults and a criminal record past including an arrest that occurred in Law School. My full amendment to the Board prior to my hearing will all of Mrs. Conan's recommended corrections totaled nearly twelve pages in length. I'm so grateful that I hired Mrs. Conan she is gem in the legal field and definitely above the rest; she always responded swiftly to my emails or phone calls unlike many lawyers I've had in the past. She's very honest and blunt with you, one thing I admired about her was she made me feel so comfortable with her and I could tell her anything and she would always know how to handle it. Im proud to say due to her excellent legal assistance following my hearing in November 2015 I was finally cleared by the Florida Bar; if you are experiencing issues with the Florida Board of Bar Examiners, call Elizabeth her rates are extremely reasonable and you will be great hands. I loved the respect the Board members gave to my attorney it made more confident in my choice to hire this outstanding advocate!

The Most Amazing Attorney in the World!!!!!

Over two years ago, I applied for a license here in Florida. My initial application was not detailed and inaccurate. In addition, I had two arrests and convictions, past due bills (about 7 years past due), lied on employment applications, and a terrible employment history (fired due to absences). ...The Board contacted me several times and though I made amendments, I knew I needed help once I received a notice for an investigative hearing. Becoming an attorney was so important to me. So, after searching online for an attorney to represent me, I had a really good feeling about Ms. Conan. I called and left her a voicemail and she returned my call almost immediately. She spoke to me on the phone for about an hour without charging me! She listened to everything and even comforted me after I cried my eyes out on the phone. I told her I was so scared as I had worked so hard and wanted to be licensed in Florida so badly! After we spoke, I knew I had to hire her. Working with her only gets better. You should see how she helped me with my amendments! Made my initial application look like garbage. She gave me so much advice as to how I can improve in other areas and things I could work on before my hearing. I followed all of her advice because she knows what she is talking about. Years of experience and she used to work for the Florida Bar. In addition, she answers her phone when you call or calls you right back, gets back to you quickly when you have a question, and emails you immediately once she receives any news from the Florida Board. That's a lot right! Nope, she does even more! She listens to you when you are upset (I admit I cried way too much) and really cares about you. She talked to me several times on the phone when I was upset. Who the heck else would do that?! I am not kidding, she really cares about you getting license! Before the hearing, she goes over every single thing that will happen on the day of the hearing. It is soooo stressful! So stressful but because of her, she helps you know what to expect and tells you what they are going to ask you. This was huge for me! You can't go in there alone! I'm not kidding, don't even think about it! On the day of my hearing, I almost had to take a break because i couldn't stop shaking and got upset because of the stress that I had felt for months and months of thinking I could never receive a license. When I broke down, she turned to me and made me feel so much better. Told me everything was going to be ok. Because of her, I was able to go on with my hearing. My hearing last over an hour, and I could not have done it without her by my side. Those amendments are crucial and I had everything turned in and the correct things turned in before my hearing, which helped me big time! Let me tell you this also, when you mention to other people that she represents you, they know her! She is very much respected by the Board and other attorneys. I had an evaluation from a doctor and everyone at that office knew her! Had nothing but nice things to say about her. Look, I swear to you this, MS. CONAN IS THE BEST ATTORNEY EVER! If you have a hearing or just need help with your application, contact her! Don't mess around with anyone else! She is dang good at her job and a wonderful human being. She cares about you and is one of the kindest people you will ever meet! I can truly say I love her (I know I sound like a stalker) but I couldn't have done it without her. She will help you receive a license! Elizabeth is the best!!

Quality representation by an insightful and diligent attorney

I retained Ms. Conan after receiving notice to appear before the FL Board of Bar Examiners for an investigative hearing. From the first time I spoke with Ms. Conan, up until the date of my hearing, she was both insightful and diligent in her representation. And while Ms. Conan always treated me as a ...professional, she always did her best to make me feel comfortable in the months leading up to my hearing. It was obvious from her former work with the FL Board that she understood the ins-and-outs of the admission process, and that this insight significantly aided in her representation. At the hearing itself, I was prepared to answered every question that the Board asked me thanks to Ms. Conan. The following week, I was successfully admitted. All in all, the whole process was very stressful; however, if there was one constant, it was that I felt confident in Ms. Conan's representation. I can say with complete confidence that Ms. Conan is a skilled and knowledgeable attorney. If you are considering representation, I strongly recommend retaining Elizabeth Conan - it will definitely be worth it.

You do not need to face the Florida Board of Bar Examiners alone

I received a notice to appear before the Florida Board of Bar Examiners for an informal investigative hearing regarding my tenure with a former employer. I had no idea what to expect at an informal hearing or how to prepare. I was referred to Ms. Conan by a friend. I emailed Ms. Conan on a Sunday ...afternoon and received a phone call from her within two hours. She was empathic, knowledgeable and professional. During the time before my hearing, Ms. Conan stayed in touch with me and prepared me for my hearing. Facing the Board is stressful. I would not have wanted to face them alone. I absolutely would not have been as well prepared as I was without Ms. Conan's assistance. My hearing lasted less than 30 minutes and I am certain it is because Ms. Conan had prepared me for the questions I would be asked, so I was able to answer them fully, truthfully and without hesitation or concern. I was cleared to be admitted to the Bar and have now been sworn in. I highly recommend Ms. Conan if you have any concerns about passing the character and fitness background clearance, and especially if you are having to go before the Board. You don't have to face them alone!
