I served as an Assistant State Attorney from 1997 through 2007 and left as an Advanced Sex Crimes Prosecutor--having served my last six years in the Sex Crimes and Child Abuse division. From 2008 until March 2011, I practiced criminal defense and became Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law after my first attempt in 2009. In March 2011, I decided to return to the State Attorney's Office where I now serve as a Career Criminal Lead Trial Attorney.
