Investigative Hearing Experience

I called Elizabeth after receiving my notice to appear and told her about my situation. She was very thorough and helpful in reviewing my application and making recommendations. I made it a point to follow her advice and revised my application by making appropriate amendments in the interest of cando...r. When it came time for my investigative hearing, Elizabeth helped me to prepare for questions and effectively convey my application and good character. Elizabeth helped me meet my objective to obtain clearance. She has the knowledge and experience to help applicants through the investigative hearing process. She will make the process understandable and approachable by communicating with you at every stage. I would highly recommend her for representation. A huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders because Elizabeth was willing to help me. I would not recommend going it alone or hiring someone who does not have experience working with the Board. Elizabeth is more than worth it! Elizabeth is passionate about helping applicants. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to help her clients. I think if you follow her recommendations, you have the best chance of success.

Wonderful Attorney and Very Knowledgable

I had the pleasure of speaking with Elizabeth yesterday to discuss my investigative hearing with the FBBE. Elizabeth provided me with some amazing advice and was extremely honest with me. She recommended how to handle my specific situation and what to do moving forward. Although I did not have to hir...e her as my attorney, I would highly recommend her for anyone who needs assistance with the FBBE. She is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Elizabeth knows how to make you feel comfortable and is very easy to speak to. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Nothing but the best

I'll be honest. I have been a practicing attorney for 22 years and never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have issues with the Florida Board of Bar Examiners but when that certified letter came, I was devastated. I immediately called and interviewed several attorneys. All were very nice an...d outlined their plan of attack. Only Elizabeth Conan outlined a plan that was completely thorough and left me feeling confident that if I had to go to a hearing, at the very least we would go prepared. And prepared she was. We had practice sessions, multiple conversations, and she provided substantial input and recommendations. I followed all of her advice, and I am thrilled to say I am now admitted to the State Bar of Florida. Look, she can't undo the conduct that brought you before the Board, but she can help you be as prepared as anyone could ever be, and she will be a calm voice of reason throughout the whole process. I can't recommend Elizabeth enough.

Extremely Thorough and Straightforward.

I hired Ms. Conan to assist me with an investigative hearing before the Florida Board of Bar Examiners. She is an amazing attorney and person. She will be thorough in helping you prepare and in reviewing your history and bar application. My favorite thing about working with Ms. Conan is that she is s...traightforward about your situation and potential outcomes after the hearing. She will not sugar coat a situation just to make the client feel good for no reason. Ms. Conan makes sure that her clients are taken care of, no matter what is going on in her personal life. She is very available to answer even small questions. I cannot recommend her enough!

A Brilliant, Respectful, and Professional Attorney

I contacted Ms. Conan when I did not find a way to obtain my bar clearance from a previous issue I had in college. Since the first consultation, I was amazed by her expertise in the field and her patience. Ms. Conan stayed with me on the phone for an hour and was very direct on what I had to do. Alth...ough at first I was hesitant to hire her because her office is located in Orlando and I live in Miami, I decided to do it after consulting with several other attorneys because I felt very comfortable to have her as my attorney. Her dedication to my case, her professionalism, and knowledge in the field is worth every penny. I followed her advise and did everything that she recommended me to do. When I finally had my hearing, I was very nervous and even cried after it was over. Ms. Conan was there to comfort me not only as my attorney, but also as my friend and gave me hope that everything was going to be fine...and it really was. After about a week, I finally received the clearance letter from the bar that I was waiting for more than a year. I then passed the bar and I am now practicing law in Florida. Thus, I would strongly recommend Ms. Conan, without any hesitations. She is really a one of a kind attorney.
