Character and Fitness issues... CALL ELIZABETH CONAN...She is truly amazing!!

I was having problems with getting my clearance because past financial problems, as well as late disclosures to my law school about being on academic probation. The Florida Board of Bar Examiners sent me a notice for a hearing, and I thought for sure that my chance of being an attorney was over. Afte...r doing a Google search I found Elizabeth, and after reading all of her reviews I gave her a call. She took time out to talk to me, gave me the pros and cons of my case, and draft a plan of action. Elizabeth reviewed every document that was submitted to the Board and assisted me in amending answers. I corrected anything that was incorrect, and any answers that were vague I provided a more thorough response. By the time I got to the hearing there was nothing left to questioned. The meeting with Board was only a few minutes and weeks later I received my clearance, and I am currently practicing as an attorney. Elizabeth is truly amazing, and if you are having any difficulties with getting your bar clearance I recommend giving her a call... you will not regret it.

Competent & Caring

When I first received the hearing letter I was mortified! I thought about going through the process alone but I know legal counsel would be more effective. Elizabeth told me more in our first conversation than I'd learned my entire 1st yr of law school with respect to the Florida Bar. She set deadlin...es and worked with my busy schedule to ensure all necessary documents & briefs were in early and accurate. I felt completely aware of what would happen when we entered the hearing and was able to stay calm and composed throughout the while ordeal. When we arrived, a few people knew her name and reputation I'd gather. I was cleared fairly quickly and I have no doubt that it was due to her great efforts in my case!

APPEARING BEFORE THE FLORIDA BAR? CONTACT ELIZABETH CONAN!

I endorse Elizabeth S. Conan. I had a very difficult case. I had been arrested 11 times, filed bankruptcy, lied on my bankruptcy paperwork, lied on my bar application, lied on my employment application, had three outstanding judgements, and had multiple checking account violations. Needless to say, I... was initially denied and entered into a consent judgment. After the time elapsed, I needed a lawyer again so I retained my previous lawyer. I lost confidence in his representation and retained Elizabeth. Elizabeth, required me to amend everything that I had previous completed. During our communications she was honest, I was able to reach Elizabeth, and she always kept me informed. Elizabeth, did more than represent me, she taught me the importance of zealous representation. Elizabeth was so thorough, there were few questions to answered at my formal hearing. Admitted 2014

A MUST FOR BAR APPLICANTS!!!!

After an investigative hearing, at which I was represented by counsel yet still lambasted, the Florida Board of Bar Examiners served me with Specifications. The Specifications centered on lack of candor. Because money was an issue, I decided to hire a different attorney to challenge the Specificati...ons. My online research led me to Ms. Conan. I called her telephone after hours, with the intent to leave a message. But Ms. Conan answered. Then, to my surprise, her and I spoke for at least thirty-minutes. Needless to say, I was impressed. I hired Ms. Conan the next day. Next began the arduous and seemingly never ending task of preparing for formal hearing; all the while trying to satisfy each element of rehabilitation. And being out-of-state added a layer of complication. Yet, Ms. Conan guided me. Ms. Conan advised me EXACTLY what to do, when to do it, and where to do it. I had low expectations before, during, and after the formal hearing. Because of the "Conan Plan," the Florida Board of Bar Examiners granted me unconditional admission to The Florida Bar. With the strongest of words, I highly recommend Ms. Conan to anyone seeking admission to The Florida Bar. I wish I would have hired Ms. Conan prior to the investigative hearing. Thank you Counselor for everything.

You MUST hire Elizabeth Conan before submitting your FL Bar Application or ANY matter before FL Bar Matter!

If you have the tiniest bit of a smudge in your history, I recommend calling Elizabeth before you submit your FL Bar Application. If I hadn't, I am almost certain I would not have been admitted, not realizing all that I had to disclose. I can't imagine any other person that would have done a better j...ob at guiding me through the grueling process that is the FL Bar admissions process. She was always available to take my calls and stayed on the phone as long as it took to ease my fears (even through incessant crying and despair). I've actually never had the opportunity to meet her in person, but as soon as you get on the phone with her you will quickly realize why she is so well-suited to represent you before the FL Bar. Beyond the fact that she is extremely knowledgeable about the process, she is kind, compassionate and a fierce advocate. No matter what it is that you must disclose, there is nothing you can say or do that makes you feel as if she's judging you. I have zero hesitation about giving Elizabeth my recommendation and would highly suggest you contact her if any issues arise with your admission into the FL Bar or any FL Bar grievances. Do not go at this alone!

"First, Elizabeth is my wife, so take this for what it appears to be worth. Personally, I hope she gets less cases. because she overworks the ones she has. I have never seen such thorough representation from an attorney and I have worked with and against several hundreds. She is prepared, dedicated, understanding and extremely knowledgeable."
