Everything that could happen in a bankruptcy was explained. I was given recommendations with options and enough information to make good decisions. When issues came up they were dealt with before I called and asked. Proactive and professional are two words that come to mind. It is good to have a qual...ity professional to work with when you are dealing with the unknown, and let's face it, most people have not been through this in their lifetime. i consulted and put 500 down to do a bankruptcy (acknowledging i still owed 1250,but in my line of work (the trucking industry )i left shortly after our consultation and was gone for 3 months upon my returnlast week i arrived to a letter that i would consider a scare tactic , i immediately called the...re office and left a mmessage for lisa roberts to return my call,when i didnt hear bac i called again and left a message for lisa roberts to call me ,to this day i havent heard a word from her or th office,,they have my phone number and if they actually knew me on a client basis they would know i have probably been out f town,.her is how ahlf the letter reads,(if we dont hear from you by may 23rd 2012,then we will assume you dont want to file a case any longer.your file will bee close and i will stop working on your case (what work have they done maybe pulled my credit bureau ) i have all the paper work.anyway it goes on to sayi will also inform any of your creditors that contact our office that you are no longer represented by our office and they can begin contacting me directly again.no refund will b given as per your retainer agreement.there will also be a 500 dollar fee to reopen your file once closed.i will be happy to email anyone a copy of this letter i can be reached at [email protected] this really the kind of office you want representing you,in my opinion it seems to be run more like a puppy mill then a law office that knows you on a individual basis,and its not like i didnt come home with the money i still owed and the intention to go down and finish paying them,but after not getting any return calls to my messages i will seek out representation else where

We contacted Mr. Roberts' office because we needed a bankruptcy attorney, and he was recommended by a well-known realtor in Orange County. Mr. Roberts and his staff explained the steps of the bankruptcy and everything we needed to provide and by when. They were always gracious and quick to respond.... We received answers to E-mails on Saturday even though we expected to receive answers when the office opened on Monday. When they said they would take care of something, they did--quickly and efficiently. We never had the pleasure of meeting him or his staff, but we felt a positive professional relationship be it on the phone or through E-mail. We would definitely recommend Mr. Roberts to anyone needing his expertise.
