Mrs. Cindy Lasky a true wonder woman to me. She represented me in a Military Retirement settlement case with my ex-spouse. I'm not one to typically write reviews, however, I feel so fortunate to have found the Lasky Law firm that I wanted to share my experience with others who are searching for a family law attorney. After doing some online research and contacting several different firms in town, I ultimately chose to w...ork with the Lasky Law firm. This decision was based solely on my phone conversations with the office staff and my initial meeting with Cindy Lasky — right away I felt the warmth, professionalism and confidence of their team. The Lasky Law firm handled two high conflict cases for me — a paternity case and a domestic violence case, both with the same individual. During the 10 months of litigation, Cindy and her team made me feel as if I was their #1 client — their level of responsiveness, pro-active approach and concern for my feelings was ever apparent. However, what I most appreciate about Cindy is her level of experience, integrity and direct style. Cindy is well-respected in the legal community, extremely knowledgeable about the law and understands the bigger picture/long-term strategy of the case. She is level-headed, respects the importance of timing and does not hesitate to be aggressive when needed. Although my case settled prior to trial I was confident that Cindy's vast trial experience would've served me well in court. Cindy is a woman with integrity who will always be upfront with you regarding the status of your case, whether its what you want to hear or not. Ultimately, I learned there will be good weeks and bad weeks during any lengthy litigation. What mattered most to me was that during those bad weeks, not only did I have an attorney that cared about my feelings, but I had one that was skilled enough to get us back to a good week quickly. I couldn't be more grateful to Cindy and her entire team.

I understand that all attorneys either are liked or disliked by prior clients due to the outcome of the case. However, my 2000$ retainer never made it to court or even negotiations with the opposing attorney. I was charged 1037.00 for email communication after she stated she could handle all my iss...ues for 1500$. Before I released her from her services, she wanted to converse over the phone at 300$ an hour instead of email communications that are .2 or .3 the money. she never fulfilled her promises to me and received my money on doing nothing but emailing me back and forth. Nothing got resolved... I had her for 4 months with little to nothing being completed and all I got for my money was false promises and a fake knowledge over military issues within family law. She claimed she knew it all and I had to show her on many occasions that she was wrong and supply her with the Navy instructions. She was my 5th attorney that failed me... I have wasted so much money and no results due to these attorneys being afraid of my Ex's attorney and believe that she has the "JOHNNY COCHRAN" of family law.

I cannot say anything bad about the Lasky Law Firm. Cindy and her team are absolutely amazing, just so professional at all times. Prior to going to them I was scared and very uncertain of the possible outcomes. After the very first consultation, I left feeling like a weight was taking off my shoulde...rs. This was because, I could immediately tell that I was being represented by the best. Cindy and Heather and their paralegals were so helpful, knowledgable and respectful! Throughout the entire process they went above and beyond for me. Every time I reach out with a question, I received an answer in a very timely fashion. Just so knowledgeable and reassuring.
