Mr. Robert Wood was appointed by Duval County Family Court Services to be the Social Investigator in an ongoing divorce matter between my prior wife and I. Mr. Wood was prompt, professional, understanding, compassionate and receptive. His quality of work, and persistence in this matter truly showed m...e how genuine and invested he was. Again, Mr. Wood was appointed by the court system, so I had no say in the matter, but after his thorough investigation of both parties, he was able to professionally articulate to the court system what was truly going on, and how badly my son was being affected. Words can't express my gratitude, as it is certainly not easy for a father fighting for his son, so without his expertise none of this would have been possible. Additionally, Clients and Attorneys widely praise Mr. Wood for his expertise in social investigations, alongside his excellent communication from his staff who provide comforting support throughout the process as well. Mr. Wood is a very kind man yet seemed more interested in his personal life than taking accurate notes for my social investigation case, which showed in his report, $3,000 dollars later. He was habitually late to every appointment, he lied to the court stating he works by himself, however, his wif...e works right by his side and was rude to me via email. The interviews aren’t recorded so the court relies solely on his word. As I stated he’s kind but it may be time for him to retire. If assigned by a Judge ask for a different social investigator.
