I cannot say anything bad about the Lasky Law Firm. Cindy and her team are absolutely amazing, just so professional at all times. Prior to going to them I was scared and very uncertain of the possible outcomes. After the very first consultation, I left feeling like a weight was taking off my shoulde...rs. This was because, I could immediately tell that I was being represented by the best. Cindy and Heather and their paralegals were so helpful, knowledgable and respectful! Throughout the entire process they went above and beyond for me. Every time I reach out with a question, I received an answer in a very timely fashion. Just so knowledgeable and reassuring. I would trust them with anything! I can't thank them enough for all they did. They took a negative part of my life and quickly turned it into a positive! If you are looking for a good law firm that will be aggressive, follow up, go the extra mile you have found the one!! I can’t say enough good things about the Lasky Law Firm. My husband had an extremely difficult case and they were able to finally put it to an end. My husband was originally divorc...ed in a state other than Florida and his child support obligation was to remain in effect until the children were emancipated by the court (not just by turning 18). We first tried to litigate it here in Florida where his X made a huge stink to go back to the original state the order was first made and we ended up litigating there for two years, meanwhile she was still collecting child support! Once that was finished we still had to litigate here in Florida for the local courts to adopt our order and credit us back for years of overpaid child support. We called multiple law firms and they seemed uninterested in our case as it didn’t seem that it would be “ongoing” enough for them to waste their time getting involved. We ended up talking to a nice young man at the Lasky Law Firm who answered all of our questions and set us up with a consultation right away. After speaking with one of the lawyers there we decided to retain and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome at this point!!!! We had to go to yet another trial and the Law Firm worked on this case as a team for several nights beforehand preparing. I wanted to mention that the hearing ended up being in Orlando and they were able to go with reasonable added expense. We won our case and now the X has a $24K+ judgment due to us. Cindy and her crew saved us and got us out of the system and able to move forward with our lives. Would highly recommend!!

I first hired Cindy Lasky in December of 2008. I had a domestic violence hearing I needed representation for. The retainer was comparable to other firms I called & I went with LLF based on their Folio Weekly “Top Family Law Lawyer” in Jax award. I was young & in fear for my life & my lawyer provid...ed great comfort & stood up for my rights in a way I could not have done myself. A few months later, they handled my Dissolution of Marriage (with children)-again, comparable retainer & excellent service. Fast forward to 2012, I had child support issues that needed handling & wanted to hold my ex accountable for years of neglecting my children & failure to pay child support. Cindy handled several hearings, mediations, & all kinds of motions to get us there. She is always on time, always prepared. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this woman. We ultimately ended up needing to arrange Termination of Rights & Step-parent Adoption. Cindy felt Heather (lawyer in office) would be a better fit for the case due to her experience in adoptions. Heather was just as wonderful as Cindy. As for her staff, I have never felt “brushed off” or “kept on the phone to prolong billable hours”. I used to be a bookkeeper & I keep exhaustive records of everything. I went over every monthly statement with a fine-tooth comb & only found one mistake once & it was fixed promptly. Desire (paralegal) is AMAZING. Answers e-mails within MINUTES. I read some of the negative reviews on here & I cannot imagine where they came from because I have experienced nothing but above & beyond service from these people. The only “negative” I can think of is Cindy is quite aggressive. (I don't find this to be negative though!) She takes her job seriously & is not going to waste your time or hers on drama and anything that is not going to ultimately help your case. She will tell you point-blank if something is relevant & usable or not in the courtroom. She is a “bulldog” & I would rather have Cindy in my corner than against me!!

I hired Cindy Lasky to handle a divorce and child custody case. We agreed on a retainer, which I gladly paid thinking I was getting a top notch lawyer...I was wrong. I ended up working with her paralegal Desire...who was awesome however I had hired Cindy. I never once talked to Cindy again besides th...e consultation and one email. I had to constantly ask for updates as they never offered anything. I had to wait for 2 weeks for my ex to be served because and I quote the service company, "They weren't aware it was an emergency situation." The law firm refused to even contact the servers to figure out what was going on until I got upset with them. The child custody was dropped and to continue with the divorce Cindy told me I need to pay an additional 350 to finalize everything, which I paid. It took over 3 weeks to even get a court date because the assistant was "out of town", and over a month to receive my final decree because once again the assistant was "out of town." To top It off when I eventually went to court...remember I paid for Cindy, she didn't even represent me but passed it off to a different attorney. They didn't even bring the paperwork for the judge to sign to the court hearing and decided (last minute without discussing it with me, when we had already agreed to something else) to go for a basic divorce instead of settling the debt between my ex and I....and on top of everything else I still received an additional bill, and when I reminded billing that the amount agreed upon was already paid, what did I receive? Another bill. DO NOT USE. They charge way to much and won't do anything until you get upset.

If you are looking for a top quality attorney to work with you in handling personal legal matters, don't bother with Cindy Lasky. Cindy Lasky and her firm have terrible listening skills. After numerous consultations, neither Cindy nor her firm could even get my phone number correct, not to ment...ion the particulars of my case. Furthermore, if attempting to contact your attorney at the The Lasky Firm, once again, don't bother. You will be rerouted and giving messages to everyone in the building before you get anyone of importance. Secondly, when you do finally talk to an attorney they treat you like an employee (forgetting who is really paying the bills). Finally, when you complain they belittle you with snooty comments. Let my frustration save you time, money, and frustation; don't bother with Cindy Lasky or anyone at the Lasky Law Firm.
