Biography
Billy Tomlinson attended the University of Georgia as an undergraduate and received his B.S. Degree in 1993. He then attended Mississippi College School of Law where he received his J.D. Degree in 1996. Prior to attending college he served in the United States Marine Corps.
During his years of practice, Mr. Tomlinson has represented clients in many different legal matters. He has represented criminal clients with charges ranging from minor traffic offense to death penalty cases, successfully represented his personal injury clients resulting in millions of dollars in settlements for them, handled complex family law matters for both military and civilian couples, and helped immigrant clients obtain visas and citizenship. Additionally, Mr. Tomlinson has served as Solicitor General for Garden City, Georgia since 2005 along with being the attorney for the Richmond Hill Travel and Conventions Bureau.
Mr. Tomlinson is active in a number of professional organizations including the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Georgia Association of Criminal Defense lawyers, Georgia Bar Association, Savannah Bar Association and the Atlantic Judicial Bar Association
Mr. Tomlinson has helped with training local law enforcement officers in trial and evidence issues and has published various articles in legal publications. He is trusted by his clients, opposing counsel, judges and law enforcement.

Worst lawyer
Paid all of my lawyer fees they passed my case off to another lawyer and don’t give them the correct info to start my probation so now I have a warrant out for my arrest I will be suing Billy Tomlinson’s office for neglect because of this

Mr. Tomlinson is the best

Super Man

Exceptional
Had a charge in 2012 that could've gotten me jail time, probation, a fine, all that good stuff. Tomlinson did his thing, I was in court for less than 20 minutes, got off with just paying a fine. Would recommend
