I injured my dominant hand in the line duty as a law enforcement officer. I had a broken and dislocated thumb. After nearly six months, the injury was not healing and was still very swollen and painful. The only orthopedic surgeon on the list of doctors my employer provided was not responding to my c...oncerns and refused to order an MRI.
