Andrew received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama with a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice in 1995, and his Juris Doctor cum laudefrom Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1998. During his time at Cumberland, Mr. Matteson received the Legal Research and Writing Award and the Scholar of Merit Awards in Constitutional Law and Estates and Trusts. Mr. Matteson is admitted to practice in the following courts: All state Courts of Georgia; all State Courts in Tennessee; the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Middle District of Georgia, the Southern District of Georgia, the Middle District of Tennessee, the Western District of Tennessee, the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the Southern District of Illinois; and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh and Fourth Circuits. In addition, Andrew has been specially admitted to the trial courts in fourteen states and numerous federal jurisdictions.
Andrew has been married to his wife Kari for fifteen years. They reside in Roswell, Georgia, with their two daughters, Rylee and Shelby.
