Thomas Charles Nagel

I hired Thomas C. Nagel to help with a minor legal issue after he advertised free consultations and claimed to be experienced with warrants. In a moment of panic, I paid him $400 through Zelle and signed a virtual agreement — hoping for peace of mind and professional support. Unfortunately, he did... absolutely nothing to help me. He didn’t follow through on the actions he promised, never reached out to the officer involved, and left me to navigate the stress completely on my own. I had to deal with the situation by myself, despite paying him in full. To make matters worse, when I looked him up later, I found a few negative reviews describing similar experiences — people being charged for work that was never done. Please save your money and your energy. There are better, more ethical attorneys out there who won’t take advantage of people when they’re scared. I deeply regret trusting him and hope this review helps someone else avoid the same mistake.

After reading many reviews and speaking with him, I hired Thomas Nagel on January 1st 2017 for license suspended in 2007 in Fulton County. It was made a bit more difficult since I no longer reside in Georgia. It was explained to me that the case may take up to two years to resolve due to the backlog,... so I was prepared for the long haul. I checked in with Mr. Nagle just about every month and he was pretty good at returning my calls. I was always told that he had not heard anything new concerning my case. Finally In August 2019 I received the dismissal notice, I was thrilled then shocked as I read it. My case had been dismissed 5/1/2017 over two years prior, four months after I hired him. That meant Nagle had never once checked on the status of my case in over two years. Until I received my dismissal notice I thought I would leaving Tom a very positive review. I've waited over six months to write this so that my disappointment could subside and I could write a fair review. In retospect I should have just went back and took care of it myself. I'm have done in a timely manner and for a lot less money.

Tom, I can't thank you enough for what you did for my son. You told me from the start that you would be able to get my son off without jail time or a trial; I found it hard to hope for given the severity of the charges, but that's exactly what you did. My son's life has changed for the better as a ...result of this, not just because he is a free man but also because he is now on a positive path that he is committed to continuing for the rest of his life. I hired attorney Nagel to represent me in a DUI case. After doing some research and consulting with others, it seemed inevitable that my case would result in a conviction of DUI. Attorney Nagel assured me that whether or not the results would be in my favor, he would fight until the very last second,... which he absolutely did. Not only was my charge reduced, but he was able to get me out of having to do jail time, which typically comes from such a reduction. I am so glad that I read the reviews of others on this site which led me to hire Attorney Nagel to represent me. I couldn't be happier with the results. I don't know that any other lawyer would have fought so hard to have my charges reduced. I am eternally grateful.
