honest, intelligent, effective

I had gotten an (awful) speeding ticket during my first semester of college. I was so unaware of the legal actions involved and Mr. Thacker walked me through each step and ensured I understood and agreed to each choice of action. His recommendations got me a very favorable outcome. Overall, I had a g...reat client experience with a helpful and knowledgable attorney.

OUTSTANDING, ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING.

Through an unfortunate misunderstanding, a member of our immediate family unexpectedly had an urgent need for a criminal defense attorney. However, through a very FORTUNATE turn of events, we found Josh Thacker and his assistant, Bridget Plott. By nature, I am an extreme perfectionist, so I don’t giv...e out rave reviews lightly. Nevertheless, our experience with this firm was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! Every member of our family felt comfortable speaking with Josh about our situation. Josh came across as knowledgeable and experienced, yet very humble and easy to be frank with, even on subjects that should have been embarrassing. Our situation ended up being resolved much more quickly and smoothly than how it could have gone, and we felt guided in such a way that, although it was still an incredibly stressful time in our lives, the professional service and care we received had us feeling that our legal representation was the one area where we didn’t have any concern whatsoever. To top it all off, during the first week after we had hired Josh, a highly unusual and sudden change in the nature of our case put us into a different category of representation. Without my having even considered the possibility, Josh came to us to lower his fee and provide a partial refund. While I am sure our situation is atypical, and the monetary value of our partial refund should not be a contributing factor for any decision to hire him, this act speaks volumes about his ethics. How can it be that a criminal defense attorney has such superb skill, experience, professionalism, compassion, AND strong ethics?! It may not be typical, but that is Josh, and that is why I have titled my review of him as OUTSTANDING.

The best of the best.

Josh took care of me for about 6 months in 2013 and 2014. He dealt with two completely different cases, one for invalid registration and suspended license, and one for a second dui in five years. He got the former case completely removed from the record and the latter case plead out with the lowest r...equirements possible. I could not ask for a more informative and up to speed attorney. He knew all the laws and all of the risks. He gave great advice and led me to a successful probation and turnaround. If you go to anyone else in spalding county for legal representation you are completely crazy. He is the best of the best!

Impressed from Day 1. THE BEST LAWYER EVER.

I really am speechless with how awesome this office is. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable,professional, and were genuinely concerned with my case as well as how i was feeling throughout the long process. Those little moments of comforting really kept me from becoming overwhelmed. The amount of kno...wledge in this office and the way Josh executed and carried himself was just unbelievable. I can honestly say i didn't really have a reason i chose Josh,other than the reviews i read about him , but I'm so glad i did. I ultimately won my case, and i know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if i had chosen anyone else i wouldn't have. Don't even hesitate trusting Josh. I will recommend him for life, and everyone that i knew(and many i didn't who witnessed him in the courtroom) we're telling me how impressed they were with him as well, with many even getting his business info after my case!! THE BEST. PERIOD.

Above & beyond!

Josh & his staff provided me with better than excellent representation. I had a complicated traffic situation involving my relocation to GA from another state. He helped me to navigate through the charges filed against me and to understand what was involved in resolving my case. In addition to his p...rofessionalism & legal competence, Josh is caring & compassionate. He helped me to feel supported & reassured instead of completely alone.
