Simply the BEST

I got myself stuck in a sticky situation driving someone else's car. I only had to go to court once which is where I met Josh for the first time. He sat WITH me instead of with all the attorneys up in the front and talked to me as an understanding friend rather than an attorney with a full schedule. ...My phone conversations were never cut short and I was always the one to hang up first. And at the end of the day, my case was DISMISSED. My case could have potentially gone to a jury trial, and Josh assured me he was more than ready and I had no reason to worry about those implications. I don't know where I would be today, possibly jail, if I never hired Josh and his team. He is by far the most professional person I have ever met in this field and while I hope to never have legal troubles such as this again, I will certainly not hesitate to call him or his firm the moment I need them. I can't thank you guys enough!

Thankfull for His Team

After being wrongfully accused of a crime, I decided to consult an attorney before talking to investigators. After Talking to Josh and his team, I felt comfortable in hiring him to do a pre-warrant investigation on my behalf and to present evidence to the investigators in hopes of stopping any warran...ts from being taken. Josh and his team did a very good job at gathering the information needed and presenting it to investigators. Josh and his team laid out the steps, collected evidence, and presented the case to investigators and was successfull in getting the case closed with no charges being made. They did all of this while explaining the steps and keeping me calm the whole time. Me and my family are very gratefull for their trust and hard work in resolving this unfortunate issue for me and my family.

Knowledgeable and Accomplished Defense Attorney

In my Junior year of High School, I received a rolling stop ticket in south Griffin, at a poorly designed intersection. The officer had written out more than 50 citations in one day at that exact spot to drivers, including myself, for failure to stop. Josh Thacker satdown with me and went over the ci...tation to understand the charge and the scenario in question. He even went on site to take pictures of the intersection for usage in trial if needed. After determininig flaws in the charge, he negotiated with the officer and prosecutor out of court to lesson the charge. The result was only a fine, and he made sure I didn't have to miss school for the day just to sit in the courtroom. For as much work as he put into a traffic violation, I would have no problem utilizing him and his staff for any other issues that may occur in the future.

OUTSTANDING, ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING.

Through an unfortunate misunderstanding, a member of our immediate family unexpectedly had an urgent need for a criminal defense attorney. However, through a very FORTUNATE turn of events, we found Josh Thacker and his assistant, Bridget Plott. By nature, I am an extreme perfectionist, so I don’t giv...e out rave reviews lightly. Nevertheless, our experience with this firm was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! Every member of our family felt comfortable speaking with Josh about our situation. Josh came across as knowledgeable and experienced, yet very humble and easy to be frank with, even on subjects that should have been embarrassing. Our situation ended up being resolved much more quickly and smoothly than how it could have gone, and we felt guided in such a way that, although it was still an incredibly stressful time in our lives, the professional service and care we received had us feeling that our legal representation was the one area where we didn’t have any concern whatsoever. To top it all off, during the first week after we had hired Josh, a highly unusual and sudden change in the nature of our case put us into a different category of representation. Without my having even considered the possibility, Josh came to us to lower his fee and provide a partial refund. While I am sure our situation is atypical, and the monetary value of our partial refund should not be a contributing factor for any decision to hire him, this act speaks volumes about his ethics. How can it be that a criminal defense attorney has such superb skill, experience, professionalism, compassion, AND strong ethics?! It may not be typical, but that is Josh, and that is why I have titled my review of him as OUTSTANDING.

There's a reason why Josh Thacker has no negative reviews.

A lawyer was the last person I thought I would ever need and I surely didn't know who to trust my future life with. My family and I are so glad we chose Josh duh to the great recommendation of a very good retired defense lawyer, we could not have chosen a better defense lawyer. This is not someone wh...o will treat you as another client, but as family and someone who cares that you get the best outcome possible! Thank you Josh and Bridget we are forever grateful.
