He was always a man of his word which I wish I could say about all prosecutors. In one of the cases, I was about to win my case because one of the State's witnesses on the witness list was clearly incompetent under the law to testify to the main issue. A new Assistant DA was about to start the trial when Scott filed an amended witness list. I knew that the judge would allow it, and I was powerless to stop it.
