Sean represented my Contempt case. In the end I was awarded the credit card debt reimbursement from my 2011 divorce. He was very prepared and confident and gave me the confident and less stress about the case, the courtroom and being put on the stand. He show up every time the opposing attorney didn't show up for court and the case being rescheduled over and over.

Sean did an excellent job guiding me through my recent divorce. He kept me informed every step of the way and was very realistic in setting my expectations. His advice and emotional support was invaluable. I would highly recommend Sean for your legal needs. He is a straight shooter and works with your best interests in mind.

It was one year after my child custody mediation that I met with Sean for a consultation.
My previous representation from another lawyer had not only left me with minimal rights to my daughter, it left me feeling like there was absolutely nothing that I could do as a father in a system that generally favors mothers.. I presumed that achieving primary custody was nothing more than a daydream at best and I really believed that I was going to have to do my best with the visitation I had received & the joint legal custody I had settled for.
I had no say in raising my daughter and was sure that there was nothing I could do.. you can imagine how I felt and lived those days.
During our initial consultation, Sean heard me out & saw my situation for what it was.. For the first time since becoming a father, I heard someone say to me "You have a strong enough case to change things and possibly get custody of your daughter." I left Sean's office that afternoon feeling understood. He also gave me the assurance that I had been doing the right things for my daughter in the meantime, which I found a great deal of new found confidence in because after years of enduring the 'turn the other cheek' philosophy.. I had my head down purely out of habit and I had just come to accept that things were going to maintain this way.
I knew within the first moments of meeting Sean that he would represent me with a very strong and fluid knowledge of the law. He is professional & compassionate and he never ever failed to keep what was in the best interests of my little girl at the forefront of our uphill charge. We filed our petition for modification in Cobb County and began the process of waiting on a court date. In that time, we found the need to have a Guardian Ad Litem be involved, which had been mentioned to me during our first meeting, so this was no surprise. Sean spent countless amounts of time (during the year it took us to get into court) taking my emails, phone calls, and scheduling face time for office visits so we could update each other on the little things as well as the big things. He is always very personable and genuine.. even on our most stressful days, he always reminded me to "keep your head up and just keep doing what you're doing." - When you're nose deep in self employment and a legal battle regarding the most important element of your life, you really need to hear that from someone.
Through the thick and thin of it, keeping in close contact with me, my fiancé, the guardian, with the courts, and on the biggest day of my life, Sean truly went above and beyond seeing us all the way through to the decision of the change in custody that we were awarded. I now have primary physical custody of my daughter. As we stood out in the atrium of the Mariatta courthouse, Sean looked at me and said "You get to raise your little girl!"... How do you thank someone for that??
Sean did everything he said he would do for us, which is few and far between in my experience with someone as full tilt busy as Sean is. If I ever need representation of any kind in the future, I will most certainly hire Sean Whitworth.. and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing legal assistance or representation.

Attorney Whitworth was amazing. From my first consult until completion of court. He was up front about the cost and put me at ease immediately. Divorce issues are so hard and stressful and he was a godsend. I would recommend him to anyone just based on his confidence and demeanor especially in the courtroom. I would not want to be on the other end facing him. I cannot thank you enough Sean. i hope i do not have to but if i ever need representation you will be my first call.

Sean Whitworth was very thorough he assured me every step of the way that it will be a smooth process he always kept me alert and updated on what's going on he was always on time to court Sean Whitworth is an angel from the heavens because without him I would have been a part-time dad paying child support to a woman that doesn't care about anything Sean Whitworth prevented that from happening by being on the job and executing at every level. Now I have my boys every other week with no problems and I only can thank Sean for that.

Sean did an amazing job for us in our adoption case. He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. What meant the most though was his willingness to play hard ball and aggressively defend/protect us ("bad cop")- giving us some negotiating room to play good cop (which worked extremely well). Also- don't underestimate the value of the fixed fee which relieved our financial concerns and freed us up to focus on the matter at hand.

Mr. Whitworth was my attorney defending me in a grandparent visitation case. I was very nervous because there were outrageous claims being made against me but the moment Sean got in front of the court he completely had control of the case, witnesses and opposing attorney. He was able to convey my concerns to the judge, defend me against all false accusations and it was very apparent that the knew the law thourghly. The outcome of my case far exceeded what I hoped for. If I would have had any other lawyer I would be in a very bad position right now. Amazing lawyer!
