I was called to serve and advocated for others at a very young age. I first answered that call while in my 3rd year of law school when I became court certified to represent victims of domestic violence. Upon graduating from law school, I was hired by the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office. There, I was assigned to the Special Victims Unit, assisting in the prosecution of felony crimes committed against children.

In 1999, I relocated to West Cobb to pursue my true passion, the practice family law. Since then, I have been handling such matters as divorce, custody, child support, legitimation, and adoptions. In 2006, I became court-certified to serve as a Guardian Ad Litem in Cobb County, meaning, I am trained to determine and represent the best interest of children.

My basic philosophy in handling my cases is to get my clients from point A to point B as painlessly, expeditiously, and efficiently as possible while helping realize their hopes, dreams, and aspirations. I represent my clients with the appropriate level of aggressiveness while we remain in frequent communication. I then work very closely with my clients as we work together to reach their identified goal.

Fair, Honest, Compassionate, Fierce Advocate

14 months ago I was referred to Daniele by my therapist who was treating me for PTSD for domestic abuse. I was a bit of a mess but knew I needed a divorce and my only concern was the safety of my 2 kids still at home (1 a minor). She listened with compassion to my story and clearly explained my options and the process. It was a scary time but I could quickly tell I was in very capable hands. Papers were served and then Covid hit and the courts shutdown. Daniele kept me well informed throughout the process, even when there was no update to provide. She was finally able to schedule a mediation with the opposing attorney over Zoom and it was set up in breakout rooms so I did not have to face my abuser. Daniele has a calm about her, and is a fierce advocate for you. The mediation was long and Daniele explained my options at each step and was vey clear to the opposing side of my non-negotiables. The outcome was better that I expected and most importantly I was able to get sole custody and decision making of the 1 minor child with no court mandated visitation. I highly recommend Daniele. She is very professional, knowledgeable of the law, fierce advocate, fair, honest, great listener, and compassionate. I felt I was part of the process throughout and it was a partnership.

My Divorce

When I got served with my divorce I consulted a few lawyers but did not feel comfortable with any until I sat down with Daniele Johnson. I had concerns about my children, my business and more but after voicing them to her she made me understand the process and how I may or may not be affected by the divorce. I decided to hire Daniele and it was the best choice I made. She handled my case professionally from beginning to end and when I had questions about my case she was always available to answer them. When everything was over I was very pleased with the outcome. I would definitely use Daniele Johnson again and I would recommend her to anyone.

Best Lawyer Ever

Attorney Johnson is truly a one of a kind individual. I walked into her office with all the odds staked against me and she was willing to take on my case even though in my view it was a long shot to come out victorious. After almost two long years of numerous court proceedings, she was able to accomplish for me what I could have never imagined on the day we met. There are not enough words in the English language for me to heap my praise on her. Not only is she an amazing lawyer, she is an excellent person also. Compassionate Attorney

Amazing Family Attorney!

Daniele Johnson represented me for my domestic violence separation/divorce in 2020. When the separation occurred, I was an unemployed stay-at-home mom/wife so obviously I was devastated to have to leave my home with my children’s. Mrs. Johnson assured me that everything would work out fine. She was very kind and concerned about me getting what I deserved, and I appreciated that greatly. Thanks to Covid-19 the process took 20 months, and she was very patient with the process. She always responded quickly to emails and phone calls. I felt like Daniele was my partner and when it was all said and done, I left the marriage with physical custody of our daughter, possession of my vehicle and possession of the marital home. I could not have been more satisfied with the outcome of this divorce. I would definitely retain Mrs. Johnson’s services if a future need arises. Oh..... and did I mention that she represented me pro Bono because of my financial hardship at the time??? She’s amazing!

Honest, Competent, Compassionate

Ms Johnson was calming in the midst of my storm. Faced with divorce proceedings after a long-term marriage I was quite stressed and unsure how to proceed. Ms Johnson was very patient and listened carefully. She predicted a trial outcome that, at the time, I found difficult to believe. Yet in the end, the Judge ruled almost exactly as Ms Johnson had said he would. She is very fair and transparent with her billing. Facing legal issues is always a daunting prospect. Adoption!!

Daniele Johnson was exceptional! After being jerked around by another lawyer for 6 months, I contacted Daniele and got the adoption process started all over. My husband was adopting my daughter after being her ‘dad’ for years and the biological father being absent. She knew exactly what to do, how to do it, and when to do it! She stayed in contact with us throughout and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend and would definitely use her again! My husband is now legally my daughters father and we wouldn’t be here with Daniele Johnson! Thank you!

GREAT ATTORNEY

Daniele Johnson is hands-down the best family law attorney I've ever hired. I remember a promise she made to me shortly after our first conversation: "I will treat your money as if it were my own". She kept that promise the entire time I needed her. But beyond that, and more importantly to me, Daniele knows the law, is compassionate... and when needed... she is tough as nails. If you're in the position I was not long ago and searching for a quality attorney with YOUR best interests at heart… search no further. Daniele Johnson is that attorney.
