Carrie Anderson Hackett

Carrie and her team were amazing. They are very customer focused and answered my MILLION questions and made me feel at ease during my mediation. They explained things along the way and constantly kept me informed with the process. I loved the fact that she provides a consultantion so you can get a... sense of who she is prior to hiring her and I knew right away she was going to be my attorney. I would be remiss if I didn't also call out Kevin and her other staff which offered advice and was always available for calls and answering emails. 100% would recommend and use them again (although I hope I don't need them again).

If you are looking for a family Attorney that will have empathy and compassion for your specific family case I would not recommend Attorney Hackett. Unfortunately I only spoke with Attorney Hackett one time for 5 minutes. I have never met her, nor explained my legal needs or expectations to her. ...Whenever I did reach out I got an email that she was busy ( read old complaints from 2010-2013 still true to this day). I mainly conversed with Kevin which he wasn’t helpful because he is not allowed to provide legal advice. I anticipated paying under $2,000 for my specific needs and I ended up paying over $4,000 dollars, I was asked to sign another retainer after those two documents were completed,. Kevin helped me complete my Discovery and interrogators ( which they said I have to do in their office ). I was presented with a contempt order for the other party but i found out after a month that it wasn’t filed through the court therefore my contempt was useless. When I went to the court hearing I also found out from the judge that I was supposed to sue the plaintiff not write a contempt order. Attorney Carrie Hackett’s lack of legal advice or knowledge in my case caused my family and myself a lot of emotional distress and we are still suffering to this day trying to recover. I could name a lot more discrepancies but I hope this gets my point across. If you do choose to use this firm ask a lot of questions and make sure you know what you want and need for your case.

I found Hackett and Wine here on Avvo. Carrie Hackett took my case; it was the best thing that could have happened for me. She and her awesome team (Kevin is very patient and thorough! ) handled my case even though I was out of state. I really felt like they listened to my concerns and helped make de...cisions based on what was in the best interest of everyone involved. In court, Carrie was very professional and was definitely an advocate for me! This woman absolutely knew her stuff.

I was going through a very difficult family situation over the course of several months. Carrie worked tirelessly to get the best possible end result I could hope for! Carrie is a straight shooter and does not get into the "dirt" but instead focuses on the task at hand. She is very responsive and ...maintains a great "one on one" relationship with her clients. She has very little overhead which keep her fees to a reasonable level while providing top notch service. I couldn't recommend Carrie more to anyone going through a difficult family situation, especially when kids are involved. I wish I could rate Carrie "6 stars" in this review as a "5 star" rating doesn't fully reflect how highly I recommend Carrie and her team. If you are on the fence on selecting an attorney, I assure you that you can not go wrong with Carrie Hackett!!!
