Amazing Defense Attorney

I was acquitted on a DUI case where I blew over the legal limit. I was pulled over in the morning time, the day after I had gone out with my friends. I had already slept for 7 hours before I got pulled over, but I still blew over. Anyhow, I clearly passed field sobriety tests (the officer said I didn't in the report, but the video showed I was perfect) but technically failed a Portable Breath test that the officer gave me BEFORE the field sobriety tests. Anyhow, Mr. Sharpe found many holes in the case against me from the state. First, the field sobriety tests were done incorrectly - even though I passed. Second, the officer failed to follow the correct rules and regulations in the process of the Intoxilizer Testing when he made me blow at the jail. Mr. Sharpe knows the law, rules and regulations for this type of case. He's excellent at finding the points that need to be made, and then articulating those points to the jury. He followed up with me regularly over the year and a half it took to go to trial. He also hired the top expert on this subject for this trial, which basically negated the testimony of the officer, as well as the State's expert on the matter concerning the rules and regulations of the Intoxilizer testing. I'm truly thankful that I hired him as an attorney.

Now specialize helping clients charged with DUI, illegal drugs, aggravated assaults, terroristic threats, domestic violence, shoplifting, theft, and robbery. Have always had a deep interest in government, and politics, helping judges and prosecutors get reelected. Have obtained excellent results for clients in personal injury cases involving death, catastrophic injuries, brain damage and tractor trailer wreck cases. I am dedicated to getting the best results for all clients and have an excellent relationship with prosecutors, judges and police officers. I have obtained not guilty verdicts and a reduction of charges for my clients on numerous occasions by pointing out the weakness of the State's case to the prosecutors.

In 1988 and 1989, I organized and conducted two People's Law Schools at Southern Poly State University, on behalf of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association as a Vice President. Recruited judges and lawyers to conduct classes of interest to the lay public. The first class had 250 members and received recognition for its success from the legal community. All Superior and State Court Judges appeared at the first class to be recognized for their contributions to the community for their service.

Have been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Marietta 36 years and received the Award of Merit for my service.

Served 3 years in the US Army, honorably discharged as a Sergeant E-5. Used the GI Bill to become a Commercial Pilot with instrument and multi-engine ratings.

Professional and easy to talk to

Guy handled my DUI case, he and his secretary were very professional and polite. He explained to me everything that could happen and told me all the things I need to do before going to court. He told me he would do all he could do get the case dropped but didn't make any promises. When it was time to appear in front of the judge I had did everything he told me to do and he had gotten the case dropped to a reckless. I was very happy and pleased with his work.

Best attorney in Cobb

We live in an era were finding a honest, open, relatable, non-judgmental, professional, accessible and trust worthy attorney is seldom. Attorney Guy Sharpe runs a world class very respectable firm. Not only is everything I mentioned above he gives back to the community and has a heart of service. His Assistant Jayne was very knowledgable , easy to talk to and very receptive. During my trial it was evident that Guy has a razor sharpe reputation the court corridors and rooms. He is well respected and has a great relationship with the prosecutors.
