Biography
R. Shannon Carpenter is a native of Augusta, Georgia and has been practicing law in Atlanta since 2003. Mr. Carpenter received his undergraduate degree from University of Georgia and is a graduate of Georgia State University College of Law where he graduated with honors. Prior to joining Van Sant Law, LLC, Mr. Carpenter practiced at one of the more prestigious law firms in Atlanta, Georgia where his practice was focused on defending some of the largest insurance companies, commercial trucking companies, and product manufacturing companies in the world. However, he left this position after only a few years in order to begin practicing as a Plaintiff's Attorney as he realized that working with individuals and their families was much more fulfilling.
Mr. Carpenter is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Atlanta Bar Association and the North Fulton Bar Association. Mr. Carpenter now focuses his practice on trucking accidents, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and other catastrophic injury cases.
