Rob Usry

I had accumulated an extensive record over the course of 10 years following my divorce, due partly to immaturity and depression. My record included multiple DUIs, DUS, public drunk, open container and simple possession. My last DUI in 2007 resulted in my incarceration for over a year. I decided to ch...ange my life and I've been clean and sober ever since (almost 9 years now.) To get my life back to normal, I needed to get my driver's license back. My attorney Rob Usry was able to accomplish this for me. Rob advised me on my outward appearance- I removed my jewelry and cut my hair. He helped me gather my witnesses to my sobriety and helped them form their affidavits. He gathered all pertinent documents and helped me tie up any loose ends. He took the time to get to know me personally, then took all of this information to build an impressive, overwhelmingly favorable argument to present to the SC Board of Pardon, Probation and Parole, which resulted in a pardon of ALL of my SC record. Subsequently, the Department of Public Safety cleared my record and allowed me to get my license back. Now I am able to get myself back and forth to work, go shopping, see my friends, and most importantly, visit my family in Georgia. I have my freedom back, and it feels like flying. A lot of people say that lawyers are just thieves. But I never felt that way while working with Rob Usry. He was always on time, he worked hard, and he always had a plan. The whole experience with his office made a bad situation a little bit easier. I was dealing with a lot in the time of the DUI and... I was on medication, sleeping medication, working with doctors. And the reason that my DUI was dropped was because Usry took time to understand what was going on. Because of this I talked to my therpsy and he wrote a letter to the court. The doctor said that with my OCD, there i was takimg the pills over and over again. Because the pill causes medical induced amnesia. Because I was worried i forgot to tale medication I continues to take the pills. Then I blacked out. This was a hard case. But usry believed everything and helpedme so mich. He knows what he is doing and will work you. Helped my parents with payments. He is a genuine guy. God forbet, but if I ever need a lawyer again I will me calling him right back.
