Helpful. Patient. Diligent. Compassionate.
Brian is probably the only lawyer in Asheville, who is at his desk past 4:30pm on a Friday! (5:30). Brian talked with me over the phone and reviewed my file in person. He is straight forward and gets to the bottom line. I am grateful for his time to walk me through my next steps.

100% recommend
In May if 2019, I was in a car accident where I was T-boned by someone who ran a stop sign. I was referred to Brian by a close friend and began the process of filing a complaint against the opposing insurance company for the horrendously low settlement offer I received from them. Coming into this case, I was naive and unaware of the legal processes involved in such an endeavor. I thought, “Well the driver admitted fault, the damage is recorded, this will be easy”. I had absolutely no idea that my accident would have become such a battle to receive money lost. And that battle was fought tooth and nail by Brian and his team for me. We were in the middle of this process when the pandemic hit, which added another layer of complications and delays to everything. It took almost 3 years to get to the end of this settlement. Brian and Jenna, whom I worked with the most personally, were kind and patient with my unending questions, compassionate with my frequent emotional meltdowns, and kept me in the loop with my case regularly, knowing how much stress it was bringing me in my personal life, I didn’t feel in the dark. Brian had even come in on his day off just to meet with me and hear me cry about how unfair everything was. That’s a patient man. He wasn’t scared to tell me the truth of the arduous process we were in, even if I didn’t want to accept it, something I appreciated a lot. Anytime I had to come into the office, I was met warmly by Jenna, who always remembered me and my case. It never felt like a stuffy or cold lawyers office. I even met another individual who worked on my case behind the scenes that I was unaware of, he was very kind and happy to meet me, which made me feel that much more secure knowing Brian’s team was truly invested in my case. I never felt like I was just another number or just a client. I felt like Brian and Jenna genuinely cared about me as a person, they were truly fighting for me and my case. And to be quite candid, I believe they gave me more time and effort than they ever got compensated for after everything was said and done. But that didn’t stop them from treating me like family. Brian never stopped fighting for me even when we knew I wasn’t going to receive what we hoped I would. I have learned through this process, the system is absolutely flawed, ugly, unfair, and will make you insane. That is just the truth. I was a little fish in an ocean of sharks. The system isn’t set up for us. You ***need*** someone like Brian, like Jenna, who are aware of those flaws, and are still willing to go in and fight an uphill battle for you, which is exactly what they did for me. So, thank you Brian, Jenna, and the whole Brian Elston Law Firm, for staying grounded, staying connected, and staying human in such an exploitive world. You are gems! I 100% recommend this business.

Focus Group
Brian offered the opportunity to be part of a focus group at his beautiful legal office. He was an excellent host to all that attended and very organized with the focus materials. It was obvious to me that Mr. Elston is a sharp and highly skilled lawyer with a formidable ability to outline the facts of a case while remaining politely attentive to multiple speakers and extracting key information. I would have no hesitation in choosing him to represent me or my family and friends in cases covered by his representation. Thank you Brian Elston!!

Caring, dedicated, detailed.
I consulted with Brian about a time-sensitive insurance claim with an insurer (hint "begins with 'G') acting in bad faith. The information he shared was invaluable. He came highly recommended from a very well-respected mediator who represented me in the past, and now I know why.

Informative and Helpful
Brian was able to give me valuable and informative information regarding an employment law dispute and how to proceed with our claims. He took the time to talk with us over the phone and listen to the situation fully before giving us an opinion on the case.

Brian Elston is an amazing litigator
Brian is an amazing attorney. He always responds to messages and he believed in me when no one else would. His sharp litigation ability is only matched by his knowledge of the law. I've never met anyone that had anything bad to say about Brian. His level of honest and moral character is matched by few. One of the finest attorney's I've had the pleasure of representing me in court.

Grade A experience mixed with kindness and diligence
Brian and Karen are simply impressive people. I was injured on the job (pilon fracture of the right tibia). I have never had to deal with a situation anywhere close to this and really was never properly informed to what to do, not by a case worker, nurse, other attorneys, that is until I call Brian and Karen. I could tell very quickly into our first conversation that I had stumbled upon a good thing. They were actually on my side. They are straight forward, realistic, diligent and kind. I am forever grateful.

Great Attorney!
I came to Brian with an issue where I suspected I had been a victim of wage theft. He took the time to listen to my concerns and research the applicable law, then agreed to represent me. Within a few months I had my check. He was very caring and professional. I was very pleased with the work he did on my behalf. I highly recommend him if you need an attorney to get the job done.

Thank you!
It is never fun to have a difficult time with an employer. Brian was able to talk me through a difficult time so I was able to create a priority list through all the emotional stress. I found success in this and was able to work with my employer. Thank you.

Fabulous Lawyer!
I worked with Brian to take care of a sensitive work issue that was adding real stress to my life. Brian was professional, kind, and helpful in all matters. He was able to make legal-eze understandable, he helped me look at multiple sides of the issue, and ultimately lead me to make a sound decision that was right for me. He was supportive as well as knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with an employment situation. He is fair, honest, and he works with integrity. My situation is resolved, and I feel like I have a competent and able attorney in my corner. Thanks Brian!

Great and HONEST lawyer
Brian was extremely helpful in settling a difficult and contentious issue. He was prompt, professional, knowledgable and (most importantly, in my opinion) honest. He concluded that my case was best kept out of court, even though that meant less legal fees for him, and worked diligently to resolve the case as such. I highly recommend a lawyer that works for the client on such an honest level and would absolutely give him a call if I ever find myself needing legal help again.

Very grateful for Brian's knowledge and support
My family recently consulted with Brian on an issue arising from concerns about the failure of our daughter's school to follow their own policies. Brian was knowledgable, responsive, and most importantly a great listener and very supportive in this time of family crisis. Our community is fortunate to have Brian as a resource and we highly recommend him.

Brian Elston is outstanding
I recently engaged the legal services of Brian Elston in a matter pertaining to my children's independent school. Brian proved to be the attorney who made me question my negative attitudes toward the legal profession. He was a great listener, attentive, responsive to my concerns, and a strong communicator and advocate. He did more than was to be expected in researching my particular legal quandary and kept me informed each step of the way; he even responded to my past-nine-p.m. emails! Even more, Brian proved a highly ethical and compassionate legal professional. I would strongly recommend Brian to anyone who is seeking excellent, ethical legal counsel.
