Unsubstantiated EO Allegations-Thank you, Mr. Barry!

Attorney Barry should be your first call for military defense. I hired him for an EO complaint/CDI defense. His knowledge of procedure and military law is thorough. He is able to navigate both Active and National Guard/Reserve issues. He listens to understand, helps anticipate questions and put me at... ease during my proceedings. He was available and accessible throughout the case and followed up regularly. I hope I never need military defense again, but he’d be my first call and my first recommendation to anyone else.

Board of Inquiry and GOMOR Removal

I reached out to Matt Barry Law initially for help putting together a GOMOR removal for GOMOR received in 2022. Few days later after talking with Matt, but things took a turn when I received a FLAG from HRC due to a missing Board of Inquiry (BOI) in my GOMOR proceedings. Matt was able to quickly adap...t and help me prepare for the unexpected development, including explaining the relevant regulations and the reasoning behind HRC's requirement for a BOI. It's great that he was able to break down the complexities of the process and provide me with a clear understanding of the situation. Moreover, Matt helped me understand the importance of having a BOI in place to prevent similar issues from arising in the future. By opting for a BOI instead of another letter of retention, I can avoid potential complications during future record reviews. My new Command initiated an involuntary separation and Board of Inquiry (BOI). Matt was still on board and anxious to aggressively litigate my case at the BOI. Keep in mind you are bringing on board a highly experienced lawyer when you retain Matt Barry Law. I didn't just hire a lawyer to magically make my problems disappear (let's be real, those don't exist). Instead, I found a team in Matt Barry Law, who made it clear that I needed to be an active participant in the process if I wanted the best possible outcome for my case. From the start, it was evident that he expected me to be an integral part of the team. Matt worked with me to prepare for my case, going above and beyond to ensure I was thoroughly prepared. His attention to detail and commitment to my case were impressive, and I appreciated the effort he put into helping me understand every step of the process. By working together, I felt confident that we could achieve the best possible outcome. It was a collaborative effort, and I was grateful to have Matt by my side, guiding me through the complex process and fighting for my rights. Through our prep. we mapped out my career and many contributions to the military and came up with a clear strategy to obtain our objectives for the board. The findings were exactly as we had planned and prepped for, Matt's strategy paid off, and he effectively used the 15-6 to highlight all the mistakes the Investigating Officer (IO) made in reaching his conclusions. It was clear that those mistakes had led to an unjust determination, and Matt's efforts helped to expose the flaws in the IO's reasoning. In my opinion, Matt Barry is the best military lawyer out there, hands down. Throughout the entire process, Matt demonstrated an unparalleled level of expertise and control. He effortlessly commanded the tempo and environment in every room he entered, leaving no doubt that he was the authority on the matter. It was clear to all parties involved that he was the go-to expert, and his confidence and poise were truly impressive. But what really sets Matt apart is his approachability and genuine personality. He's not just a brilliant lawyer; he's also a down-to-earth guy who is easy to talk to and be around. I genuinely enjoy his company, and I'm grateful to call him a friend. This might seem like a small thing, but it's a crucial aspect of building a successful lawyer-client relationship. Matt's accessibility and responsiveness were also exceptional. Despite his hectic schedule, he was always available to answer my questions and address my concerns. I never felt like I was a bother or an afterthought; he made me feel like I was his top priority. That kind of dedication and commitment to his clients is truly rare, and it's a testament to his exceptional character and professionalism. Overall, I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Matt on my side throughout this process. His expertise, confidence, and kindness made all the difference, and I'm grateful for the experience.

NJP and Separation Representation

Attorney Matt Barry represented me in all NJP and Separation matters. Proceedings lasted a total of 15 months of which, Attorney Barry was my greatest asset. His professionalism cannot be surmounted. I couldn’t ask for a more ethical, direct, and honest council. Thanks to his efforts and complete und...erstanding of the law, we successfully overturned separation due to unsubstantiated findings. I will continue to use Attorney Matt Barry’s services and trust his guidance to the fullest extent. I recommend his services to any member in need of representation.

Unmatched Advocacy and Expertise: My Highest Recommendation for Matthew Barry

I give my highest and most sincere recommendation to Mr. Matthew Barry. His deep passion for service members and extensive knowledge of complex legal processes were instrumental in navigating the challenges of a GOMOR rebuttal. Thanks to his dedication, I now have a fighting chance at promotion and c...areer advancement after facing what could have been a career-ending situation. Mr. Barry’s legal expertise not only reduced the immense stress I was under but also provided hope when it seemed there was none remaining. He also shed light on critical flaws within the Army’s records correction systems. Above all, Mr. Barry is a true professional who passionately fought for me every step of the way. If you’re facing negative administrative or legal challenges, he is the advocate you need on your side. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Commander’s Investigation

Absolutely the BEST former military attorney that you can hired! You won’t go wrong but don’t take chances procrastinating or waiting the “if”. Attorney Barry is an outstanding legal professional that know the military system and will advocate for you. When the other part read his resume, and learn ...about his background and experience, they will be extremely cautious with their actions. Results of the investigation was unfounded! Thank you attorney Barry!
